| Should marijuana be legalized.... Posted: 8/1/2005 7:22:47 PM | | Innocent = not immoral. Being imprisoned for possessing weed (as some cases I remember from the eighties) where a parapalegic in a wheelchair was given 25 years in oklahoma for one or two lids. Pathetic. Dont know how much time he actually did but the notion of it was ludicrous. | |

| Should marijuana be legalized.... Posted: 8/1/2005 7:25:26 PM | We have all heard the old addaage opinions are like a$$holes, however, this debate shouldn't be based on opinion, religious preferance, or the governments need to control our lives. I am a weedlover! I was told by my doctor one point in my life to smoke. Ofcourse it wasn't legal, but, he said it was better than me going in a looney bin because of a nervous breakdown. When I was in a car accident, I couldn't eat for days after my surgery, the ONLY way I was capable of eating was after smoking a j. It was the Best Christmas dinner I put in my mouth. I also had horrible nightmares, and 6 months later I still have chronic pain in my ankle where I have a screw loose, and no insurance... To those who are rich and donot understand, this means no medicine to ease my pain. Mary Jane is the only friend I have at times. I AM ALL FOR leagalizing marijuana, true it would be more expensive, however, the bennifits would be better for our nations economy, society problems, and just life in general. Marijuana hasn't ever caused violence alone. Look at the countries which tolerate it, Canada and Holland for instance, hmmmmmmmm, I don't recall hearing about them in any war. Religon wise, MARIJUANA IS MENTIONED SEVERAL TIMES IN THE BIBLE. In fact, how to grow and harvest is mentiond in great detail. Another fact for you history buffs, Cana (the country) guess what it was named for? Yup, thats it, sweet sweet marijuana. In early American Society, Marijuana was one of the great cash crops. Esp. in Virginia, along river beds. What happened before my time where you were allowed to smoke freely, (The 50's and early 60's) and all of the sudden it was illegal. Oh, Rock and Roll right?Stop the arguing, .............Love one another....... .................And let's smoke one for our country in hopes someday we will once again unite in freedom and harmony. Isn't that what our country was all about, freedom from persecution because of your choices, of who you are? Isn't that why so many thousands flee to our country each year? Think about it, oh I know I sound like a dumb hippe, but, before anyone says anything to that effect, I have an iq of 142, I am not a dumb pot smokin hippie. Most of us aren't. Quiet the contray, many of us are teachers, doctors, lawers, nurses, writers etc etc. I am finished for now! | |

This I would like to see cited.
So Jesus turned to his disciples and said to them, " take this and smoke it all of you. this is the weed of my garden. It has been picked for you that you may forget me and everything else"
I know you are a genius so you probably don't even have to look up first corinthians chapter 14 verse 34.
while you are there citing the bible as justification, please explain these: exodus 21:4 , genesis 17:27 Ecclesiastes 2:7. I've been thinking about how to properly buy and sell slaves to cultivate my marijuana but I'm not sure the bible gives me these directions as well. | |

I only advocate its usage in tea food and tablet form. | |

Marijuana & the Bible
And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more. (Ezekiel 34:29)
"The Lord said unto me, 'I will take my rest and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs.' " -- Isaiah 18:4-5
Jesus • Medical Marijuana • Relevant Quotes 1) What is the Word of God concerning marijuana, or cannabis hemp ? The hemp plant (scientific name: cannabis, slang name: marijuana) is but one of the many useful herbs "yielding seed after its kind" (Genesis 1:12, 29) blessed by God on the third day of creation for people to use in conjunction with our free will. The only place in the Bible where Cannabis was mentioned by name got switched into 'calamus' by the King James translators as part of a holy ointment (described in Exodus 30:23).
The Bible also predicted prohibition: "In the later times, some shall … speak lies in hypocrisy … commanding to abstain from meats which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth." (Paul: 1 Timothy 1-4) Nowhere in the Bible does it say people cannot grow, possess, use or even smoke cannabis or that hemp is bad. In fact, quite the contrary: "God said, 'Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed which is upon the face of all the earth.…To you it will be for meat.' … And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." (Genesis 1:29-31)
2) How was the cannabis plant used by people during Biblical times? Cannabis was widely used throughout the world since earliest times. 'Cana' got its name from the same root word as "cannabis," indicating that hemp was grown there. The Bible also describes a common way of preparing marijuana for medicinal use: "The Lord said …Afore harvest, when the bud is perfect and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks and take away and cut down the branches." (Isaiah 18:4-5)
Cannabis was traditionally used in 12 different ways: as clothing, paper, cord, sails, fishnet, oil, sealant, incense, food, and in ceremony, relaxation and medicine. And it was written, "On either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare 12 manner of fruits, and yielding her fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations." (Rev. 22:1-2)
The leaves and flowers of cannabis are well known for their medicinal value, and the Thracians Scythians and Zoroastrians were just a few of the groups that were using cannabis socially during Jesus day.
3) What about cannabis today? Hemp today has thousands of uses. Modern technology has devised many new uses for the helpful hemp plant -- like biomass energy, construction materials, fuel oil, plastic and so on. It is used worldwide as medicine. It is among the best food crops on Earth, and is ecological, as well as a popular relaxant and a spiritual tool.
Unfortunately, during the 20th century, new anti-drug laws have been made by man to imprison, seize property, and even apply the death penalty for people caught growing cannabis in accordance with God's law.
4) What does the Bible say about drugs? Alcohol is the only drug openly discussed in the Bible, so it must serve as our reference. Jesus began his public life by miraculously turning water into wine at the Wedding at Cana (John 2:1-10) when the wine ran out at the celebratory party. Wine is symbolically drunk during religious occasions such as Passover -- the Last Supper of Jesus and His disciples. It continues to be a traditional sacrament in today's standard church services. Yet the simple joys of God-given pleasures were also sung: "He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth; And wine that maketh glad the heart of man and oil to make his face to shineth." (Psalm 104:14-15)
The Bible distinguishes between use and misuse: "Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts." (Proverbs 31:6-7) as well as "Woe unto them that … follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!" (Isaiah 5:10)
5) What do the 10 Commandments say about people using marijuana? In the 10 Commandments, God ordered that man shalt not hold cannabis or anything else as a 'false god,' 'not covet' it, 'not steal' it and 'not lie' about it (Ex. 20:1-17). Unfortunately, the US government has done nothing but lie about cannabis for most of this century. The result of all this is that these lies have been used to rationalize the arrest of more than 10 million Americans for marijuana; 695,201 in 1997 alone, and 87% of them for personal possession. This is a good example of why the Bible also warns that "If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked." (Prov. 29:12)
The Ten Commandments: 1. No false Gods.
2. Worship no graven images.
3. Do not use God's name in vain.
4. Keep the Sabbath day holy; no work permitted.
5. Honor your father and mother.
6. Do not kill.
7. Do not commit adultery.
8. Do not steal.
9. Do not bear false witness against your neighbor.
10. Do not covet your neighbor's wife, servants, or possessions.
6) How did Jesus speak of marijuana? Although Jesus lived among a society with many cannabis smokers, He never chastised the practice and warned us not to criticize other people for their habits or for whatever they consume. "Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; that which cometh out of the mouth defileth a man." (Mat. 15:11) The Apostle Paul wrote, "I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean. For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost." (Paul: Romans 14: 2,3,13,14,17)
7) What did Jesus say about the role of government? He said to keep church and state separate. "Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's and unto God the things which be God's." (Luke 20:25) As we have already seen, it was God, not government, who gave man the seed bearing herbs to use and government, not God, who forbade us to use them. Jesus elaborated on this theme: "A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." Matt. 7:18-20)
Certainly the Drug War is just such a branch of government that has borne no good fruit, and should be cast into the fire.
8) Who did Jesus say has the right to judge others for their lifestyle choices? Jesus reserved judgement for God alone. " 'Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged' " (Matthew 7:1-4). And " 'Let him who is without sin cast the first stone' " (John 8:7).
9) What did Jesus say about crime and punishment? Jesus preached love and forgiveness. "Peter said, 'Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Till seven times?' Jesus saith unto him, 'I say not unto thee until seven times: But until seventy times seven.' " (Mat. 18:21-22) Today's mandatory minimum penalties for marijuana conspiracy can exceed 25 years to life, with no hope of parole, for people who cultivate, exchange or otherwise enjoy this natural herb.
He also warned us about seizure and forfeiture laws. "Beware of the scribes which …devour widows' houses…. The same shall receive greater damnation." (Luke 20:46-47) In fact, Jesus was a victim of property seizure: "The soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took His garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part." (John. 19:33)
10) What, then, is the Judeo-Christian response to marijuana prohibition? What would Jesus do? He told his followers to show tolerance, compassion and unselfishness in every effort to end the persecution of God's children. He told us to visit those in prison, and when it comes to the Drug War, remember His words, "Blessed are the peacemakers." (Matthew 5:9) This is reinforced in older texts, in which was written, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you will be no priest to Me… for I desired mercy and not sacrifice." (Hosea 4:6, 6:6) "The Lord… hath sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to them that are bound." (Isaiah 61:1)
Prisons and drug wars do not save souls. It was God who created cannabis hemp and told mankind to use "every green herb" on Earth. "They persecute me wrongfully; help thou me." (Ps. 119:86) Jesus himself said, "Whatever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto me
Nothing in either the Bible or the U.S. Constitution says politicians can imprison those who follow their conscience and use cannabis in good faith. "Every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused if it be received with thanksgiving…. If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine." (Paul: 1 Timothy 4;1-6) "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you will be no priest to Me…for I desired mercy and not sacrifice." (Hosea 4:6, 6:6)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Summary analysis of the foregoing discussion What does the Bible say about marijuana? The Bible says that God created hemp for people to use "as meat," (ie, to consume), that its seed oil is to be used as an ointment, and that cannabis is "to be received with thanks-giving of them which believe and know the truth." Paul also warned that some people would "speak lies in hypocrisy" and prohibit us from using it.
It also says that we "shall not bear false witness" about people who use cannabis, nor judge them because that judgement is reserved to the Lord. The Lord hates those who speak lies and sow discord among brethern. For those people harrassed and imprisoned for using cannabis rightfuly, Jesus offers these words of comfort, "Blessed are those persecuted for righteousness's sake: For theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven."
What would Jesus do regarding medical marijuana? Despite common knowledge and widespread scientific support, the federal government has for nearly 30 years kept cannabis in schedule 1 as a deliberate way to deny patients access to medical marijuana. This includes people suffering from asthma, cancer, migraine headache, chronic pain, spasticity, glaucoma, arthritis, and provides relief for many other conditions. As a result, people at various locations across the USA have had to risk and suffer years in prison for providing medical marijuana to patients as an act of compassion and personal conscience. What would Jesus do? He chose to break the law in order to heal the sick.
"At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn, and his disciples were hungered, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat. 2) But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day 3) But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was hungered, and they that were with him? … 10) And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered, And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him. 11) And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it and lift it out? 12) How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days. 13) Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other. 14) Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him. 15) But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence, and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all; 16) And charged them that they should not make him known." (Matthew 12: 1-2, 10-16)
Should people give blind obedience to government? Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying, 2) Why do thy disciple transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread." 3) But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? … 7) Ye hypocrites! … 12) Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying? 13) But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. 14) Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind, And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. (Matthew 15:1-3, 7, 12-14)

Passages from the King James Bible that are relevant to the legal and moral status of Cannabis sativa, L. And the earth brought forth grass and herb yielding seed after its kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. (Genesis 1:12)
God said, "Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. (Gen. 1:29-31)
(No prohibition of cannabis or any other drug is made in the Ten Commandments: See Ex. 20:1-17)
(Cannabis is mentioned in Ex. 30:23 but King James mistranslated it as 'sweet calamus') : Moreover, the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 23 Take thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet cinnamon half so much, even 250 shekels, and of [cannabis] 250 shekels, 24 And of cassia 500 shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of oil olive an hin: 25 And thou shalt make it an oil of holy anointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary: it shall be an holy anointing oil. 26 And thous shalt anoint the tabernacle of the congregation therewith, and the ark of the testimony, 27 And the table and all his vessels, and the candlestick ahd his vessels, and the altar of incense, 28 And the altar of burnt offerings with all his vessels, and the laver and his foot. 29 And thou shalt sanctify them, that they may be most holy: whatsoever toucheth them shall be holy. | Should marijuana be legalized.... Posted: 8/1/2005 8:24:08 PM | My final thought for the night, even though I provided enough info. on my opinion, I do not choose to argue. We all have our beliefs, views, knowledge on things we beleive in. we will not know what is truly right or wrong until we meet Christ face to face. I am extremley religious, and do not use marijuana for much more than pain and insomnia any more. However, arrogance and ignorance on subjects make these topics heated. We are all fools in someway, and how we choose to live is to be judged by one. And he is the only one who has a right to judge myself, you, or anyone else. Saterical remarks are uncalled for when I never said anything about anyone else but myself. Peace to all, and may the lonely find companionship, the weak find strength, the ignorant find knowledge, and the rest of you find what you are looking for | |

| Should marijuana be legalized.... Posted: 8/1/2005 8:29:14 PM | I say legalize it. Treat it like booze. The government gets a cut to help get the damn american guns outa here Seriously though... Have anyone ever heard of anyone at all committing a crime while stoned???? Not likely! I agree it would decrease the pressure on an overburdened prison system and put a much needed substance in the hands of the people who not only want it but need it (for chronic pain and the terminally ill). So who is this really going to hurt? I don't think it will hurt anyone but the big drug companies. Why but tylenol when you can smoke a doob and chill. Well that's my 2 cents worth anyway! | |

| Should marijuana be legalized.... Posted: 8/1/2005 8:40:47 PM | Princess:
Not a single citation in your lengthy essay refers to marijuana. the others are merely interpretations you see fit in applying to your side of the argument.
Vague references to plant cultivation or plants that grow seeds are hardly conclusive. How do you know that any medicinal references aren't pointing to opiates, which are indigenous to that region? Oils were commonly extracted at this time. You are assuming the oil is extracted from hemp. "Three wise men came from the East and brought gift for the baby Jesus:: gold and frankincense and hash oil ( forget that stupid myrrh)"
Justification using the 10 commandments by stating that it is not specifically forbidden is ludicrous. There are numerous references in the old testament to God enjoying the smell of burned animals. Since the 10 commandments doesn't specifically forbid this, should I assume that it is his will that I torch stray dogs?
did you ever get into first corinthians? Paul is talking to you! | |

| Should marijuana be legalized.... Posted: 8/1/2005 8:43:26 PM | are you covering more than one post, r Dub? and I do enjoy our exchanges , keeps me sharp
Having a substance being mind altering, or as you say , a drug, is not a yardstick strickly adhered to in the usa. My toutology aside I stand by my claim. My submissin is the psychotropic aspect of the plant was the set up to brain-dirty people into going along with banning marijuana in toto. hence the reference to false premise
I will accept your claim on the condition you support that claim with some thing other than the following. "Your claim that a classification of this plant is without foundation is bogus"
Again Thank you for :playing: | |

MaryJane is not the evil demon that the US makes it out to be and it never was. We've been living a lie (one of many but thats another story) so lets shine the spotlight on a particular crop that destroys millions every year around the globe. Tobacco, the devils brew itself. | |

| Should marijuana be legalized.... Posted: 8/1/2005 8:54:29 PM | I am not arguing my OPINION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are just happy to have someone else to use your sarcasm against. If you want to burn an animal, well, I won't judge you, however the court system would. I have known many cultivators in my past, and the technique mentiond is the one used. That was my point. Perhaps, my last remark didn't sink in you head. I DO NOT JUDGE> I AM NOT JUDGING YOU, WHAT YOU BELIEVE IS YOUR CHOICE< SO PLEASE DO NOT JUDGE ME! PERHAPS PAUL IS SPEAKING TO ALL OF US, I WILL NOT DISPUTE. HOWEVER< JESUS IS SPEAKING TO YOU ABOUT JUDGING.I ANSWER TO ONLY ONE. I SAID MY OPINION, I GAVE YOU THE THINGS RELEVANT TO MY OPINION. LEAVE IT ALONE. AND I SPOKE OF THE MEDICINAL PURPOSES I USE IT FOR. I never said I was a pothead, I just know of its health bennifits. You just want people to feel bad about their choices to make you feel better about yourself. But no one will say it to you. This is America, FREEDOM is what I believe in. Oh your comment in an earlier post about the southerners, It isn't we are bitter, most yankees have the same judgemental, arrogant, attitudes you obviously have. And well, no, we don't appreciate people belittling us or our way of living. We don't walk around barefoot playing banjos on rivers.(Well most of us don't) Take off your rose colored glasses, look at life from a diffrent point of view, not a holier than thou | |

Paul wasnt speaking to all of us. Go back and read again. It is fairly specific. http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=53&chapter=14&version=31

Oooh - is that a judgement? You're gonna burn!
I never said anything judgemental about Southerners except that it is the only place I hear the term "yankee" . Are you one of those still angry about the civil war outcome? Honey this is a forum. All valid opinions can withstand scrutiny. If yours cannot, take it off the table. You present your opinions and if they are full of holes, you get shot down. | |

the libertarian wants to ban tobacco?
Banned? I dont believe it should be banned, just taxed into oblivion. (It already has been so that is sort of an inverted victory in a quasi-Libertarian way). I just want the politicians and prohibitionists to acknowledge their utter hypocrisy maintaining the phony party line regarding hemp while turning a blind eye to tobacco and alcohol. Utterly preposterous to hear the state of california for example give police departments here the schtick about MJ being a diabolical "gateway drug" while ignoring alcohols hideous reputation. The whole issue and notoriety surrounding MJ for the past 70 some odd years has been a national disgrace. As for bilical interpretation I would like to hear some Christian and/or Orthodox Jewish botanists of various backgrounds to render their interpretaion. Im of the ilk that it might fall under one of the aforementioned catagories. | |

| Should marijuana be legalized.... Posted: 8/2/2005 3:38:48 AM | I wasnt classifying us as stupid go back and reread what i said, I said most of us were not stupid...That was my point, because somewhere earlier in the forum someone made a comment in that respect. And then one fellow decided to treat me like a sinner going straight to hades because I smoke weed. We are doctors, lawers, nurses, writers, I suppose someone in every profession Then one guy got p'od cause I am smarter than he is iq wise, and well I smoke. He attacked my opinion instead of respecting it. I respect those who do not smoke, and there descion not to.
ps to the guy who was being an saterical butt wipe to me, I was using capital letters to make my point. Obviously, a young female can't put her opinions online esp. about weed, because she Must be wrong. I am sorry you were jealous we have many smokers smarter than thee, o' please forgive us your highness.
To the dude who typed the last remark, I am sorry if you misunderstood the point I was tryin to make, infact my best friend is a HUGE pothead, and a brilliant algebra teacher, at age 25, we are very intellegent breed. | |

| Should marijuana be legalized.... Posted: 8/2/2005 3:38:52 AM | SS the libertarian: I'd like it taxed into oblivion as well. I agree that there seems to be a double standard with respect to the drug as compared to alcohol for example. I don't think it compares well to tobacco except in the health effects. I think you have to limit it to discussions involving perception distorters.
Marijuanas popularity (and known effects) is very short chronologically. It is generally considered "safe" to assume that a product such as wine or beer which has been around for thousands of years has had demonstrated long and short term effects. When marijuana came on the scene, most in this country had no knowledge. This leads to the ability to to be the first to explain.
As with most situations, it also leads to the ability to build a political base by being against a presumed killer. We have seen this many many times and still see it today. You rally people (behind you) to go after the deadly drug. It works!
I'd like to hear the Christian or Jewish botanists as well. I'm wondering if they will be any more of an authority than a layman. After all, the bible was not written in the era of chromoplasts and 30s ribosomes. BTW - don't tax my beer
princess - for a intellegent (sic) breed, you sure make a lot of spelling mistakes. Which college (in Arkansas) did you say you attended? Nice to know that the children of Tenesee are being taught algebra by brilliant pot heads. No wonder they rank so highly on standardized tests. I think when they say "God help us" , it's more of a plea than a prayer. | |

| Should marijuana be legalized.... Posted: 8/2/2005 4:03:33 AM | Tennessee, Arkansas? Um no. And the spelling errors, I can't spell worth a crap, I will admit, but, do some research, the inabillity to spell well is more common with those who have a higher iq. Also, I feel SOOOOOO special a man who followed Christ (after he was knocked off his horse by the divine ofcourse)wrote something just too me a cpl. thousand years before my birth. WOO-HOO. Well, since i am going to burn in hell for smoking, I assume my pain and sleeplesness (which are not my fault) are the reasons. But, hey atleast I know I have had all of my prayers answered in one way or another, and I myself have a clear consience.
On the tobacco side, I am quiting, not because of everyone elses view, or the government, I live in a state where it is part of our livlihood. But, my father has lung cancer and my mother has heart disease. It is an individual choice. | |

| Should marijuana be legalized.... Posted: 8/2/2005 6:19:06 AM | I could afford medicine if I could afford 150 dollars a visit to my surgeon, and get a prescription, however, it is the doctor I can't afford, not the medicine. And the free clinics mentiond earlier can't help with pain or sleep disorders because of the uses of pain killers are abused on the streets. I do beleive if it were legalized ther should be restrictions as with any drug(pain, nerve, anxiety, etc etc.) Anything can be abused, but, not all people who smoke abuse the drug, or others for that matter. If you want to give me the 5,000 dollars for my next surgery I will quit smoking, and get a prescription to ease my pain. I was in a car accident, and the lady driving the car I was riding in hit another car which pulled out and stopped on an icy road. I was the only one injured, my ankle was crushed and the bone in my leg was snapped in two. I didn't get any insurance money because neither of the women had any. My medical bills have soared over 30,000 dollars. SO, no, I can't afford 150.00 to visit a surgeon yet again, and miss six more months of work, when I can buy a small bag for around 20.00 and have medicine every other day or few days, as I need it. I don't smoke daily because it can be expensive ( I ration for when I need it the most). I usually deal with my insomnia. | |

Prescription drug companies, Merck, Pfizer, all have assistance and free assistance to those who qualify. No, they arent going to advertise this but it is available. Ask any physician for pharmaceutical assistance | |
