men have always been the hunter and the women has always been the one to care take. These are not by choice but rather an animal instinct .
Granted these roles with societal conditioning has changed somewhat, however we as women are still hunted by men essentially, that would be the reason "Sadie Hawkins" dances were a rarity .
So as women we still expect a provider to some extent some want greater providers than others LOL | |

So if someone is willing to buy you nice things while you are involved and pay for things for you, what's the problem? I'm not purposely going out and looking for a Sugar Daddy. However, if one approached me and I was interested, I probably would accept. Who knows it might turn into more?! If not, I'll just have my fun until Mr. Right comes along...but doing it more comfortably :)

Now if I was looking for a casual fling or FB or FWB then I wouldn't care as long as there was chemistry ;) I think in that instance they wouldn't care if women liked them for them b/c they would be just looking to fulfill their sexual needs ;)

I understand that there are men out there who would rather invest money than time into a relationship ... and women out there who put a price on their orgasms (hopefully they aren't having sex with guys who don't make them come!).
Some of it is simple economics of supply and demand, some of it is a numbers game. Otherwise, you would see MANY more pretty women with blue-collar minimum wage workers!
I could analyze further, but it's late.
What is the difference between saying that I won't date a guy who doesn't meet my "standards" (of having a college degree, a career, a nice car, no kids, etc), versus making the "standards" a little higher and adding that I want to be taken somewhere nice each time I see him (is that a sugardaddy or does it make me a dinner whore)... and maybe a little higher, that I'd only like a man who can help me with my bills... or who buys me fur coats, shoes, and stockings...?
I think some guys just like being providers... and others like the power trip... it's individual.
I don't think bad...
MY personal line is that I won't let a guy pay for my living expenses (I would get too dependent and used to it, I am afraid). I've been bought furs, a car (I needed it, in college), trips, shopping, clothes, lingerie, and other gifts by various men... lol but usually after I've had sexual interactions with them, and never as a stipulation.
Some guys are just nice and have the money to be generous. I wish I could meet more of them :) | |
