| Can you sleep when you are cuddling?
Posted: 5/29/2006 9:48:56 PM | | Yea.., my boyfriend usually can't sleep while cuddling and I love to cuddle. Sometimes he does like to cuddle while falling asleep. I sometimes like to fall asleep while he's holding me, but there are times when I need my space to get comfterable for what ever reason. Sometimes it gets too hot, while other times i just need the extra space, and there's nothing wrong with that. | |

I too do this
"Now that I'm alone...I love the micro fiber blankets...I strategically place pillows by my back and under my leg and scrunch one up in my arms in front of me...still cuddle."
I miss the cuddling big time...find it hard to sleep sometimes, but someday I hope that changes.
I find that pillows work sometimes too...lol
It's sometimes hard after you were in a LTR, I miss alot of things.
But I was able to fall asleep while cuddling, if i woke up in a position of not cuddling, I would cuddle again..and go back to sleep... was such a nice feeling. | |

Yea ... I know what you mean. I'm like that too. There's nothing like being held or holding someone while falling asleep!

Still can't go to sleep on his chest like he'd like, but we'll settle for spoons. For some reason, I don't snore much anymore either, which I used to. I think he keeps me so exhausted, I could pass out standing up, LOL. | |

Posted: 10/5/2006 4:48:46 PM | I don't think it's not normal. Everyone has different things that distract them or make them uncomfortable regarding personal space.
Once it's really time to go to sleep, not hugging or whatever, I can sleep with my back to someone else even if the other person is wrapped around me spoon style.
But at some point in the night it usually becomes a case of 'where do they put their other arm?', the one that's not draped over me and we separate. | |

If I feel any body heat at all...I am most uncomfortable...so after some loving, I would much rather take to my side of the bed, or better yet...have my own bed to get into!  | |

Posted: 10/5/2006 8:21:01 PM | I guess I am strange. I have trouble falling asleep WITHOUT being spooned up next to someone. A big reason why I have been a nearly incurable insomniac for the past few years.
When I was married, we slept holding each other every single night, unless we were fighting, and sometimes even then. Up until the last few years, when things fell apart.
I miss it more than anything. | |
