OMG NOT AT ALL, after over 6 years we still play chase you across the bed lol
we'd fall asleep with him snuggling and spooning me and then after a bit he'd turn over
then i'd snuggle and spoon him
and we'd go back and forth most of the night
when we weren't actually spooned and snugly we were still touching, our feet, legs or hands, something.......
I sleep amazingly peaceful and wake up so rested and content, happy and sometimes forehead to forehead and then THAT'S when we'd open our eyes and get that first wonderful 'i love you' out and a good morning kiss ....
I do not believe there has EVER been a better way to start the day than waking up cuddled together after snuggling with someone you love............ | |

Posted: 3/17/2009 1:04:20 PM | It all depends... I radiate heat like a reactor core and if whosoever zonks out on me is a heat sink or a  - fine. If they are putting out as much heat as I am, then there better be a ceiling fan or air conditioning running. 
I love it when people feel secure enough to fall asleep on me... to an extent. I'm a stomach sleeper; wrapped around my pillow and I'm out like a light. If they want to drape themselves across me like moss, I've no problems.
Skin to skin? If need be but a cotton or linen layer between works best (in my case), again, because I exude heat like a radiator. Even in the dead of winter, I sleep with only a sheet and the ceiling fan moving air.  | |

I can be cold as ice (which I generally am) and all I have to do is snuggle up to him. I keep him cool while he warms me up. We're usually laying side by side, holding hands, etc. and then when he's ready to sleep, he rolls over on to his right side and I spoon up behind him with my face planted in the back of his neck. One night we'd been having a discussion and I wasn't in the mood to cuddle up to him. He missed it and pulled me over to him. You can bet that broke the ice and things were fine. So do I love cuddling? You better believe it. Spooned into him, my face in the back of his neck and my hand over his heart to feel it beating. Very, very soothing........... | |

I have to cuddle...and to be folded into him by arms that hold me...my bum snuggled into his crotch...and his chin over my head.
I hear him breathe...but it comforts...
He's warm...but not a heater.

I know that throw out the night I move around from my sides to my back and what have you so I know I'm not smuthering her all night but you would think that i did because it seems as thow that is how i always wake up and there is no other feeling that compares. :) | |

I can spoon or cuddle all the way up until that moment sleep is about to overcome me. Then I have to turn onto my back. Hopefully she's already asleep. I can leave an arm under her in this scenario.
If I'm on my back already, I'm fine with her head on my shoulder and/or her arm across my chest. That's all good. If she has her leg over mine or any more body weight on me, I have to squirm away before I can sleep, unfortunately.
There are exceptions where extreme physical exertion or alcohol are involved, in which case I've woken up in positions a pretzel maker would envy. Also, if I fall asleep first, anything goes.  | |

Posted: 3/17/2009 11:22:19 PM | I LOVE cuddling so my vote is "cuddle close" and watch me sleep like a baby! I love it more when I can snuggle up into his back, and feel his entire body heat me up! lol
What I don't like is my feet being touched in bed! LOL Don't rub my feet with yours before falling asleep. That drives me right into the spare bedroom!

But if he likes to lay on his back with my head on his chest I lay on my side tuck my legs between or under his arm across his chest, it's harder to fall asleep so I just rest until he turns over and I will either spoon or sleep soundly butt to butt. Best sleep position him on the right side of the bed me on the left and nothing but space between! | |

I'm a human radiator too, at work I have a fan on all winter, as soon as I can I sleep with the windows open and my heat hasn't gone above 62 all winter and Im in Northern IL almost WI! Sleeping alone is hateful cuz I have no one to cuddle but when hubby was alive he was the sweat factory and with me a radiator it was constant steam and wet spots to sleep in and on so cuddling only happened in the winter! Skin to skin was best to stay cool even with the ac on I only had a sheet across my hips for the weight of it the rest of the body nekid and exposed to ac, ceiling fan and floor fan going all night dont know what made more noise his snoring or all the 3 cooling units!! | |
