I too have the same problem as many ... I put off way too much heat, so in summer it can be a bummer especially if there is no AC. But in winter or cool nights, either way... my arms around him or his arms around me ... I just love it. | |

It's not that I didn't like it it was just i would get too hot to sleep. I sleep with my window open in the winter time. She hated it. but once i was asleep it was fine she would come over to my side of the bed and cuddle with me then. but no I can't fall asleep that way! | |

Posted: 3/9/2006 6:20:32 PM | I can definitely be a cuddler, but I need to feel really comfortable first. Affection, to me, is something that comes with an equal emotional and mental connection. That being said, I don't think I've ever fallen asleep in a guy's arms. I tend to sleep on my side or stomach, thus I usually roll over to fall asleep. It tends to take me a while to fall asleep as well, so I would never ask a guy to stay up with me.
I'm pretty sure that my dog does that "cycle" thing, though...under the blankets, out of the blankets, by my feet, by my chest...all without impacting my sleep. She has be trained to open the covers for her in my sleep! *lol* | |

I wake up at all hours when I sleep alone.......I hate sleeping alone....
I love for a man to wrap his strong arm around my waist and pull me back against him....
and let me wiggle my little booty as close as I can possibly GET!!!
I love to be able to lay my head on my man' chest and feel and hear his heartbeat....
breathe in his warm....manly scent.....umm.....that is what my dreams are made of....
wanna hear a cute little story......and it is true....
right after my divorce(few years ago now)...I couldnt sleep b/c I missed my snuggle partner....
I would toss and turn..and wake up with a headache...and this went on for like 6 mths....
I was just exhausted.....the last time I felt I had slept good was the last night I spent
snuggled up to my (now) ex hubby.......darn him....anyway.....I went out dancing that night
with the girls...and met this really great guy....we danced all night..and all I could think of
when he held me close to slow dance...was ahh...I could sleep so good snuggled up to him!
LOL....but I didnt want to sleep with a stranger....so I whispered.....to him....what would you
say if I asked you to go home with me...and just hold me and let me sleep?....seriously...
this is NOT a con to get you to go home with me....or some women that just doesnt want to
tell she wants a one night stand.......I TRULY want to just sleep!!!!..LMAO...
He said....well damn.....are you really serious?.....well.....I dont know....if I could just lay
there and be a gentleman but I can try..........I said..ok....but if you dont think you can...
well...it was probably a stupid idea anyway....I am just so tired.....LMAO.....
he went home with me.......I slept so good.....all night.....woke up next am...to a letter on
the dresser........sweet dreams sleeping beauty......didnt want to wake you.....will call you
later today.......and he did.....we ended up being wonderful friends......still friends to this
day...LMAO......he admitted later......that he went home and slept all darn day....cause he
didnt sleep one min.the entire night......cause he stayed hard all night....with my darn
wiggling..LMAO.......oops..did I forget to mention..I wiggle in my sleep?........

Posted: 3/9/2006 11:09:41 PM | ^^^I've done that before too ... not with strangers, with my guy friends from the local singles dance club that I belonged to. They were real gentlemen and I cannot complain. We are all such good friends.
Sometimes I was able to return the favor for them when they just felt the need for a snuggle from a lady ... it was never a "sexual" thing. It was a matter of just wanting to be close to another human being. Nothing wrong with that.
Once I went over to be with one of my guys after his little granddaughter was killed in a freak car accident. I just held him all night ... we didn't talk much and there was nothing but me being there for him and holding him and letting him cry as much as he needed to.

Posted: 3/10/2006 12:30:36 AM | I love to fall asleep cuddling. It to me feels loving and sweet. That's what I miss most about my last bf of 4 years...if we turned over the other one cuddled up to each others back. It's so soothing and comfortable to me. I LOVE it! 
One bf I had I held his hand across his chest...he was what I call a "cuddle bug". Knowing he's there wanting to touch me makes me feel warm and fuzzy!!!
It's really nice when it's cold and I rub his hairy chest and nuzzle him... It's the best part of sleeping together!!!! I'm very affectionate  and like for my man to be also.

Posted: 3/10/2006 3:14:24 AM | I sooo can't sleep while cuddling, lol, my dog sleeps on the bed with me and she always cuddles right up next to me so when my ex and I were together I would have him on one side of me cuddling up to me and her on the other side pressed right against me, OMG, it used to drive me nuts!!!! Between the two of them it felt like being compressed in a tangle of blankets with the heat on 150 degrees, lmao!!! I do like to cuddle BEFORE I get ready to go to sleep, then I need my space, I toss and turn and I definetly can't deal with the whole "used" air in my face, lol!!  | |

Spooning and all that is nice, but temporary. I'm a human furnace, the heat is always nice....at a distance.
best deal:
Snuggle and talk with her under an arm. As she falls asleep she rolls over (off my now dead shoulder).
I roll over toward her back and put a hand lightly somewhere. Shoulder, waist whatever. Not sexual, just there.
Fall asleep watching her.
Hope I wake up before her, just for five minutes to watch her sleep.

I love the feeling of someone running there fingers through my hair and vice versa. Either that or just massaging the back of the neck. It's very soothing and puts me to sleep within minutes!
As for cuddling throughout the whole night, I would generally roll over into my own space.

She on the otherhand can sleep on top of a pile of clothes in the bed. And cuddling, No freakin way...not to sleep anyhow | |
