On a funny note when my baby sis was lil she would sleep in my bed some times and hold on to my earlobe until she fell asleep.........she had a tight little grip..... | |

Posted: 3/23/2006 5:26:48 AM | | Typically I fall asleep holding a pillow, and when I wake up during the night that pillow is always on the floor, so I don't know that it would be a good idea to go to sleep holding a person. My dog usually sleeps next to me down by my legs and quote often I get so restless that she jumps down and sleeps on the floor. Depends on how tired I am. One poster said he has problems with sitting still for more than two minutes. My problem is that I never stop thinking. My brain is always "running". I wish I knew how to turn it off. I'll go to sleep with a tune in my head, or thinking about a piece of furniture I want to build, or why the computer on my workbench isn't cooperating... I actually have to concentrate and envision looking down a deep, black hole to clear my mind and go to sleep. So cuddling up with someone probably wouldn't be a good idea. | |

LOL well I'm happy I'm not the only one who experiences this either...makes me feel less of an alien....LOL
Ditto for jewellry, I cannot sleep with anything on...no rings, earrings, bracelets, nothing I think with the exception of a fan (All year round) and a couple blankets and the man on the other far far far side of the bed then I'm set. | |

Posted: 4/18/2006 7:47:28 AM | I have been luck - I have always had great cuddlers in my life - they cuddle just the right amount of time and know when to move over to sleep but remain touching in some way, which I like. A foot, or bum to bum, a hand, back or shoulder touching is great, tells you that he is happy you are there with him. Sometimes it's nice when you fall asleep intertwined and wake ever so slightly later on, kiss and part to sleep.

And I fidget while I sleep and probably move like 5 times before I can get comfy. But once I am comfortable with someone I can sleep in their arms no problem. | |
