As for Virgos....I have never met another Virgo I did not like and I sure hope we get along with Leo's....since I have twins that are Leo's! | |

All Virgos are not alike depending on thier charts (ascending and moon signs as well as what sign thier VENUS is in). I have been with many signs and all of us have our faults no matter what sign we are, after all we are only human! However, being a Virgo myself I can say that from the exterior we may seem a bit cold and unemotional but inside we are very loving, deep and very loyal to those we hold close to our hearts. We love deeply we just don't allow many to see this. Actually the true ruler of Virgo is the planet Vulcan! Yes, alot of Spocks running around in this world! That should say it all! lol! For any trekies out there remember how intense Spock was when in love? enough said! lol! I personally would love to find another Virgo man to be with! | |

And then I also wonder how much of why people might say, " No I am this sign and I AM like that", is because it is drummed into you from the minute you are born??? Think about it, when did astrology first enter your life. From when you are in the crib and the neighbours pop by oh when was your daughter born. Oh May?? oh wow shes a Taurus, that means she will be stubborn but loyal but creative. Then growing up you get given books on your starsign for your birthdays . You have people telling you how you are because of your star sign Then high school when teenagers are trying to find the answers to heartache and love...oh its in the stars what sign are you. The minute you tell lovestruck friends your sign, what do they jump on you and say oh you are Taura, you must be stubborn but loyal but creative...Then you start dating people ask, so whats your starsig Oh Taurus oh you are ............................. and so on and so on...
So to me I believe its all just a result of social conditioning. Dont think there is any truth to it - and I certainly wouldn't not date someone because of their starsign. Too many other important factors to consider..why complicate things more ? 
Oh and what really cracks me up is that leads to ridiculous expectations. Cue the sobbing friend who has just been dumped by a guy " But I dont understand Hes a Virgo and Im a Taurus and we are supposed to compatabile...!!!!!!!! It was meant to be...what happened???!!!""

Posted: 3/24/2007 2:47:44 AM | Of course, crystalise. I would not take it seriously at all if it were not for the fact that I do fit the Taurean description virtually to a T. So that along with some nudges from others here have just recently allowed me to look at it with more potential credit. Even I know other subsigns can throw off those generalizations and they are just that... generalizations. Still it is sort of fascinating how it could even work to the degree of accuracy it does seem to work.
From my point of view I see a lot of Aries women, at least in my town on here, and I know I am often attracted at the surface to this firey type but I also know it burns out eventually, too. We are fire and ice. Oil and water.
But who says us Tauruses are too pushy? WHY I OUGHTTA.....bam, zoom, to the moon!  | |

Yep, I'm a Virgo too... but according to a book I read ages ago (Don't remember the title..), I'm a "dark side" Virgo... Yeah I know, shades of Star Wars. Supposedly, the dark side is the polar opposite of the "true" Virgo. I dunno, could be, 'cause I'm a bit of a slob on some things and anal as hell about others.
But I've gotta agree , Virgo & Virgo can be way cool, but gimme a sweet Taurus any day! I wish I'da married my Taurus lady years ago.. But nooo.. I had to be a dumbass! | |

I have, however, noticed there aren't a lot of us running around. If you're trying to figure out why there are more of one sign then the others... look at what signs would co-ordinate with nine months after the coldest months of the year... Virgos, coincidently enough, would mostly be concieved in December.
And they say weather doesn't effect us much anymore :P | |

Virgo men give the appearance of being quiet cold and can be. But at the same time most I have known are extremely analytical, intelligent and tend to be great lovers. They also tend to leave a lasting impact on your life. They also tend to have many scorpio traits, one being loyal.
Virgo men/Scorpio women seem to be a great mix or at least have been in my experience.
