Posted: 12/10/2006 4:07:40 PM | I used to be on another site called OK Cupid, which had all these amazingly addictive tests you could do on it. I was on there several months before it occurred to me that it could be used as a dating site.
Met a couple of people from on there who told me about this site, which I believe was fairly new to Australia at that point in time. Signed up, hardly ever checked in ... and then became addicted to the forums. The rest is history, as they say ... | |

But seriously, I have been on quite a few sites and I have found this one very good and it suits my wants etc as far as posting etc goes.

Posted: 12/10/2006 9:44:46 PM | I was such surfing the net and came across it. It wasn't easy to find on the Aussie website. I didn't bookmark it and about two weeks later decided to have another look, yea did I look and look and look and look
Kept coming up wish tropical fish, fishing, fishing baits, fishing boats.. etc.
needless to say I did eventually find it again...

Posted: 12/10/2006 11:02:54 PM | A young guy I was chatting to in another forum (a competition rewards site) wanted to chat to me one to one and I didn't have messenger or yahoo or any chat program on my computer (still don't!!) so he told me to come on here and use the IM feature. I chatted to him but then I ended up meeting a guy that I started dating! Although I have broke up with him about a month ago.
I like this site because I like the forums and the Instant Message is so much better than one that I have tried in another site.  | |

Posted: 1/27/2008 4:01:13 AM | when I first went looking ( about 4years ago)in the yahoo search engine for free single dating and chatting sites, FSO was advertised for about 12 pages, with everyone who had just joined, first postings or profiles page.. after I plowed through those pages, this one POF appeared. And I joinedthe ^^ one up there I mentioned , when it was free to contact everyone, male or female, but I never became a*cold* member either, though I still am in there, just to read the pages, but I remember a few SYDNEY bods who made so many laugh and cry at their postings, but I usually only read the womens pages, for information on various subjects, and how to help other females to cope with life too..
But also one of the most popular dating sites that is advertised everywhere you look, on the net and in the paper and the tv, also had a site, using the same name with a space between the words... trying to steer you away from here I presume...they had every other dating site you could ever imagine and ones that u could`nt too. even ruds ones and ones that have gone out of business, aussiedatingcupid and loads more that I looked at and rejected as being too incorporated... counting Australia and New Zealand as one country, and expecting u to guess where the profiles lived.. there is also some advertised on buzzen that lead to here as well.. nice one Syd.....for bringing this out of the archives... | |
