But only because she would try to use sex to get her way. I believe sex is something both people should want and not be used as a device to get your way. When she offered sex to get something I would say no.

I believe there is this thing called no means no... works both ways.
But anyway, from my experience, a man has the right to say no as much as a woman does... However, from societal stand points, this is a taboo for a man and often means a woman can cause all sorts of misery and heartache for the man if he does making him afraid to actually say no. An example of this; a man is tired from working all day and his woman had the day off or a less eventful day and is in the mood. The guy says no that he is tired. The usual response is the woman then tries to seduce the man. To make this short, the often end to the situation is one or both end up hurt and upset. An argument often erupts from this situation. The woman becomes accusing of various untrues such as "you only want sex when you want sex", "we've grown apart haven't we", "You don't love me like you say you do" and so on. If the situation was reversed and the man acted as the woman did, the man then is labeled as "Immature", "an ass", may even be accused or rape of some degree, and the list goes on.
Men, just like women, have times when they just don't want sex. Not that it's not appealing or something is wrong with them... not that something is wrong with the person they are with. They may not feel good, might be tired, or plain old don't want it. And yes, we are animals and yes we are 'programmed' by genetics to want to reproduce... but it doesn't mean we ALWAYS are in in heat. | |

Sure we can. I've said no to sex many times, and not because I was busy. I just didn't feel like it. My girlfriends were sometimes overly critical "What's wrong with you??? Have you turned Gay?, etc..." You know, the usual stuff women put up with when men question their sexual identity if they don't put out.
So yeah, some of us say no, but making it like it's some freak of nature well, that's like letting men off the hook for times when women say no and men don't take no for an answer. | |
