As far as comments about the rich and the poor, again you are wallowing in self-pity big time.
I have a number of female friends and just because I may be attracted to them does not mean that I feel they should feel the same way about me. I have emailed a number of women on POF, some have responded and some have not. BUT I do not wait at the computer waiting and watching for a reply! If it happens it happens.
If this chic is playing you then drop it. You are obviously very vulnerable, and again seem very possessive, maybe you really need to re-evaluate how you are approaching women in general. | |

@OP: HA! You hit the naail on the head here. I loved it. Everyone here feels your pain and unfortunately it is an integral part of online dating. You do, of course, have the option to leave. If you stick around I suggest you put something in your profile to the effect of "I am upfront about my feelings and expect the same of those who contact me". It even came up in my first chat with a girl last week. I told her that if we meet and I lose interest I will communicate it to her. She told me she'd do the same. Now, will I hold her to that? That may not be possible. But at least it's out in the open. | |
