....the masterful epic that is Wings/10,000 days....
....they make this album stand out to me...Tool keeps growing...possibly their best one... | |

Posted: 5/24/2006 8:42:28 PM | Alex Grey's art is so esoteric and goes with Tool's sound really well, these CGI-3-D images are incredible. I think Roseta Stoned and Intension are the best songs Ive heard in a long time...from anyone.!!

Thank god for the internet, I was able to get the full album about a month before it was released into stores, but being a TRUE fan, I also went out on the first day it came out and bought the album! | |

To date i believe this is one of their best albums, although they are all 10/10 in my opinion :P
10 000 days i feel is much deeper in lyrics than other albums, especially wings for marie part 1 + 2, of course its about his mother who passed away...
anyways, great album  good to see other tool fans!

I think it is one of the few CD’s in a long time that I have been able to listen to from beginning to end without finding a bad track. I find it amazing how Tool’s sound evolves so much on every CD and yet it is still very familiar.
I actually started listening to Tool because of Bill Hicks… That man was a genius. Also, I was actually listening to coast to coast AM the night the call sampled in Faaip De Oiad occurred. That was a really creepy show.

the drumming AND the diverse percussion...f*cking awsome....
was readin' an interview with adam jones...says they produced the vocals in a way that they didn't take away from the music...most vocal tracks are recorded "out in front" of the music...not to mention that he got some pointers from Robert Fripp and Joe Walsh.... | |
