That is a bunch of crap! All men do NOT communicate and when they do, it is to hear themselves spew. 
Now SOME men do communicate and very well, but you know what? Those are the ones willing to keep saying the same thing over and over or in different ways if it helps the person they care about understand where they are coming from!

Learning how to communicate is the key word for women and men. For me it is a never ending process.

Southern women are the best in the world BTW. Nothing better than a sweet Lady raised with manners and morals.

you probably won't be able to shut us up.LOL!
Ladies are so adept at communication it's almost second nature. Women know communication works... where guys want to grunt and poke things with a stick.LOL!
I"m trying harder now to really communicate and explain my position,thoughts, and feelings without worrying if I've let my guard down. It ain't tough talking about touchy stuff.LOL! And A lot of guys are raised to
think women want the strong silent type.

Now that I have a better understanding of some things (not just mom and dad being ill), I can see why he was acting the way he was. Being the sweet southern belle that I am, I have a tendency to want to "fix things" all the time, but he has some things going on that only he can fix. I'll just be here with my loving support! | |

Some of us do try maybe not so well but we try, just give us a chance ................. Personally I can only go by my experiences with my ex, since that is the only relationship I have had in 32yrs. We would be discussing something and I would ask him if he understood what I had said and he would come back with something totally opposite of what I said. He heard what he wanted to hear. That is what I meant by the statement I made.
I would never put all men into this category. There are some that do know how to communicate and won't take what you say and put their own twist on it.
Southern women are the best in the world BTW. Nothing better than a sweet Lady raised with manners and morals .................I agree with this statement.........and a Southern gentleman with manners and morals that knows how to treat a Southern lady............ohhhh baaaaaaaaaby, LOL

I think this is one of those man/woman differences. Sometimes I believe it is because they are not giving 100% attention to what we are saying, but other times I think it is some sort of translation or filtering issue. They hear what we say, but it gets translated into man language which is not the same as what we were saying.
All we can do is keep trying. Communication is the key to a good relationship and no one promised it would be easy.

I was always taught the way to a mans heart is through his stomach. I can whip up a mean batch of homemade buttermilk biscuits any day of the week to go along with some sausage gravy. Tony,,,,no matter how hard you try...u still are not "wolfie"...sounds "harsh"..but i do believe that their is some truth to this..!!
I don't think there is one man on here that would marry a woman from the over-
whelming love that he feels in his heart and soul......by this I do mean without
sleeping with her "first"......and ...(since we are on the "southern
women" thread)......."quite frankly my dear" ...I DO understand the reasoning behind this...and tend to agree...but
it would be nice to know that you are loved enough to marry even without "sex",
after all that is the one thing that slowly dissolves in any marriage whether we like it
or not.
And...if I am wrong...then let the men/women stand up and say so...!!

I think I could do it "IF" (big word here) I was truly infatuated with her and wanted to be with her under any circumstances. Love has been known to be blind on occassion.
And of course I would expect the physical side of
our relationship to heat up after marriage.

I guess she lied when she told me once that if I had of asked her, she would have said yes! But today?
