i would like to say something about how you become "hot" as i recently unearthed a bit of a racket!
for one who's been here a while, serenity, i must say, it took you quite a while to twig to the racket. it's been quite obvious to some of us (mostly, those of us who think the whole pic rating thing is a joke) for quite a while. welcome to the real world... | |

Posted: 6/24/2007 1:23:47 AM | humormonger, it took me a while because i really wasn't paying attention to it, until one of the younger women i converse with seemed concerned about her rating. so then i did some market research. then just the other day, a woman in her 40's who had some really interesting things to say and was very attractive, raised a concern in her profile about her looks going "down", which in turn led me to this particular thread.
typically i stick to the social or political issues. i suppose it's a joke if you aren't a young and fragile person, or even an old and fragile person and mean spirited people give you a poor rating. i think since it is a joke, those who have not made the time to catch on, at least now have some more info! actually the more i think about it, this is a social issue for some. so, i'm glad i posted and that you have affirmed my findings.

Thank you for the insight. I have not paid much attention to this feature yet I wondered how the members made it on the list. It really does seem like a racket for many of them and know I finally know how it works! | |

Posted: 12/26/2008 2:24:42 PM | I think women should rate men and men rate women. It is pretty obvious that lower ratings are there for women voting on women. I wonder why guy are rated so low. I see a lot of guys rated very low that are very attractive. ??Are women just tougher on judging? On the top 500, if you look most are from other countries., I think because there is not the make female rating bias as here in the USA. I vote for seperating and only voting for the opposite sex/ and having other countries seperate from the USA ones. Women I know give the more attractive women the lowest rating they can. I hope women will start giving men the credit they deserve, they might not have six pack abs but they can still be hotties. So come on women give the guys a break and don't rate women lower just because attractive. Be Real.   | |
