| What do you girls think about guys with guns?
Posted: 10/25/2006 3:23:51 PM | I don't think it is wise to post pictures here while holding a gun. There are several reasons, but the main being it seems to some to be an intimidation.
Ladies, Guns are merely tools. If guns kill people, mine are all defective. It is people who kill people. Gals holding up a beer for a picture? How does that look? Alcohol has destroyed thousands of people's lives. And not just the consumers. There is a carnage of innocent victims in the wake of alcohol abuse.
Ladies, I agree that guys posing with guns in this type of forum are a bit tacky.
I do not have any pictures in my profile of me holding any of my firearms or sidearms.
Like thousands of people across the country, I trained, certified and got my handgun carry permit. I am not some drunk redneck with a gun. Guns and booze do not mix. However, driving and booze don't mix either.
But whether you use the bumper of your fancy sports car or a tire iron or a Glock or a baseball bat, the person you kill is just as dead. And you are responsible for your own actions.
Not the gun makers, not the Jack daniels brewery, not the Ford Motor Company....YOU DID IT.
And yes, I think a Sober, intelligent, clean cut woman with an AR-15 is absolutely beautiful as long as she is competent with it really knows how to use it safely.
But let's not post it here.

Or if there in the military i ask em how they like it.... | |

He had an extensive collection of old armed forces guns that were rendered safe at one point in time but I'm not sure if the law changed about stuff like that or not. Posted: 6/3/2009 10:09:09 PM | I don't see what the problem is? I believe strongly in the 2nd ammendment. I also enjoy hunting (Note: The 2nd ammendment has NOTHING to do with hunting). If a woman can't handle my guns, she can't handle me.
I have no desire to ever use those to hurt anyone. So please, thugs, and villians, go rob someone else. Leave me alone. I don't want to shoot anyone.

Posted: 6/6/2009 5:26:07 PM | I do not mind a man in a picture with guns IF it is a pic of him on a range or he is military, police etc. Even if he is back from hunting and sitting with his 8 pt. buck that does not bother me. BUT I am a country gal. I hunt and fish and all that stuff. How many of you would complain if he was standing there with a fishing pole in his hand??
However if the dude is posing with a gun and his pants are below his boxers and he is acting all gangster in the pic Yes I have issues with it.
I am with a few of the other gals on here, I can handle my weapons. I do go target practice and I can out shoot a good bit of my male friends which kinda makes them ill but women have more patience is what my original instructor told me. I read someone else said it and I will repeat it "Guns don't kill people... People kill people" Guns are just the tool.

Posted: 6/6/2009 5:29:43 PM | Every time I've ever met a girl on the internet... after relaxing around her and taking my gun out to put away somewhere, it has always seemed to be a turn on for her. I don't intend it that way... it just happens.
People respond favorably to power. Personally, I keep a pic of me with a gun up on my profile, because I think anti-gun people are totally illogical and insipid, and I don't want those types of girls emailing me.
It makes sense to me to advertise who you are as honestly as possible. | |

When I do bring it home I keep it in a biometric gun safe in my dresser. I never bring it up or show it to anyone though. The only people who know I have a gun is my family and co-workers. | |

Posted: 6/7/2009 6:51:28 AM | From the opposite side of the fence, a woman with a picture on her profile where she is holding, or better yet SHOOTING a gun = interest.
This issue really boils down to how people feel about guns. Which once again is why I always have at least one pic where I am shooting or holding a firearm.
It's just another way to easily weed out incompatible people. | |

Posted: 6/7/2009 10:55:33 AM | In general if a person is so insecure they feel the need to strike a pose w/ a gun on a dating profile it pretty much reeks of obvious issues of insecurity...them lacking in other depts of their manhood ..
If a guy is a hunter and holding onto his gun then my reaction is "hopefully he will trip over it and blow himself away thus thinning the herd..."
As far as punks holding a gun flashing gang signs... well good luck to the girl who signs up for that horror show..
