My kids are here even though they dont live with me, it would put me too far away to have them each holidays and i couldnt give that up.

| how far would you travel for a date Posted: 9/9/2006 8:22:38 AM | I am willing to travel to the neighbouring town... If I know that there is a chance of having a long term relationship, distance should not be a barrier. Cheers, Shaily | |

| how far would you travel for a date Posted: 9/9/2006 6:27:22 PM | Love knows no boundaries but if you want specifics.... 10167 miles or 16360 kilometres!
That is what it takes to get me from here (Windsor, Ontario, Canada) to him (Gawler, South Australia, Australia)

| how far would you travel for a date Posted: 9/28/2006 6:56:36 PM | | in reply on how far you would travel for a date. well i became attracted to a man on the net from bahrain, we talked every night on the net for two years, you could say i fell totally and helplessly in love with this man. fools born every minute i know because i am one. i even went as far as going to the travel agents and taking extra out on a loan i had just got. but the short of it is to weigh up the fact i could have had a week or two of his company, or, i could have left there knowing i would never be happy again without him, the latter won, still wonder if i would have come back if i went. | |

I'm not sure the gras is always greener on the other side... but it was definatly greener in australia than in texas. :) I'm a very picky girl and even tho I get quite a bit of e mails and instant messaging. I guess no one has jus 'really clicked enoug' I won't hardly drive across the city I live in to meet and hav dinner with any one... but I did last september I flew across the world from dallas texas to australia to meet a man I met here on this site. he was definatly worth the effort. :)

| how far would you travel for a date Posted: 3/13/2007 1:35:43 AM | I live in country Victoria. I only got onto an internet site so that I could broaden the size of the pool that I fish in.
Happy to travel 3 hours by car, or one by car and two by plane. If I thought that I was going to meet someone special. Have done this before... not sure it was the right thing to do though... still single, still fishing.

| how far would you travel for a date Posted: 3/13/2007 2:04:44 AM | come on, everyone's got to have at least one long distance relationship in their life. There's nothing quite like them. If you thought "Make Up" sex was good, you should try "This could be our last time" sex oops, this thread's about dates, we haven't got to the sex part yet ,,,,,continue | |

| how far would you travel for a date Posted: 3/13/2007 2:45:19 AM | | Well as a country fella travel for me has never been a problem. So have hardly ever had a date within 30 km of my place, more likely a hour or 2 away at minimum. Have to say I have also done the interstate dating thing, though I had met them on a holiday etc so had a fair idea about them | |
