| how far would you travel for a date Posted: 3/13/2007 3:53:04 AM | ha travelled interstate and would do it again for certain - even if it took me 12 hours to get home! but do draw the line at the OS thing............... but it is hard to get a guy to venture outside his own postcode these days - i mean i dont live on another planet, only 1 1/2 from the big metropolis.
what the hell is wrong with some men these days - mean they can travel 1 hour in the car int he city and get no where - travel 1 hour on the freeway and get to my town! (hmmm maybe it is me after all................. mummmmmmm!!) | |

| how far would you travel for a date Posted: 3/16/2007 2:24:02 PM | Well lets see. 2 1/2 hr drive to airport. 3 hour check in. 30 hr flight. Maybe another 1 hour going through customs? I would only do that for one person i know. | |

| how far would you travel for a date Posted: 3/17/2007 7:37:05 PM | | Years ago, I was chatting to a friend on the phone and she was at a loose end and wanted to come visit me for the weekend but her car was out of action, so I made an off the cuff decision to go pick her up and bring her back to my place. It was 3 hours there, picked her up, grabbed some lunch, drove the 3 hours back. But I wouldn't do that for her every day. So I tend to think that travelling for a date is probably not the big issue, because a date is only referring to a meeting in itself...but if you wanted to keep seeing each other...and then wanted to see each other a lot more...then the distance starts to become a bigger issue. | |
|
| how far would you travel for a date Posted: 3/17/2007 10:34:40 PM | I was thinking 3 hours, but on second thoughts, I might only go as far as 2.5 hours, and only if there were some really good coffee stops along the way. | |

| how far would you travel for a date Posted: 3/18/2007 1:45:34 AM | If anyone really cares the slightest, they will travel .. my sweetheart has travelled half way across the world to be with me... and while on duty....... and while there was every reason why he couldn't. No obstacles were too great for him.... | |

| how far would you travel for a date Posted: 3/18/2007 4:42:15 AM | Well if there was a great distance involved I'd ask that the flip of a coin method be used to decide who does the travelling . . . heads I travel and tails you travel, sort of thing. We could do this on the phone . . and I could flip the coin. | |

| how far would you travel for a date Posted: 3/20/2007 4:56:32 AM | | Depends on how much i want to be with the man of my dreams or be it, the pc keyboard . ,that being said maybe it would be a tester of sorts ,to make sure we want eachother enough to take turns in commuting to and fro before we decide that the airfares or car running costs can be saved by being closer together in a happy ever after relationship(one can have dream of romantic story book endings surely lol). | |
