Am so glad to find the Monty Python area and my favorite movie is The Meaning Of Life and my favorite song is Every Sperm Is Sacred. Guess this is because I work in family planning and overpopulation concerns.

Personally, I've been torn between 2.

One was where they had a song "Eric the Half a Bee" after a fellow's pet bee flew through his metal bladed desktop fan.

The second is the last scene from "The Life of Brian" When Brian's being crucified and when the murderers and thieves see how emotionally frustrated he is, they sing that "Look to the Bright Side of Life" song, singing and whistling happily from their own crucifixes.

Complete random lunacy is always amusing when done properly.

My two picks..... both from the Holy Grail:

-------------------------
Sir Lancelot: We were in the nick of time. You were in great peril.
Sir Galahad: I don't think I was.
Sir Lancelot: Yes, you were. You were in terrible peril.
Sir Galahad: Look, let me go back in there and face the peril.
Sir Lancelot: No, it's too perilous.
Sir Galahad: Look, it's my duty as a knight to sample as much peril as I can.
Sir Lancelot: No, we've got to find the Holy Grail. Come on.
Sir Galahad: Oh, let me have just a little bit of peril?
Sir Lancelot: No. It's unhealthy.

------------------------

King of Swamp Castle: You only killed the bride's father, you know.
Sir Lancelot: Well, I didn't mean to.
King of Swamp Castle: Didn't mean to? You put your sword right through his head.
Sir Lancelot: Oh dear... is he all right?

From the life of Brian, the multiple times Brian bluffed his way into release from crucifixion and comes up with "I was only kidding!" only to resume the processing/forced march toward crucifixion.

I had a surgeon as me if there was anything I would like to listen to while being put under. I asked for and he did have the galaxy song. I'd highly recommend it!

My brother in law worked for a company that had computer warnings for potentially disastrous failures and one of the tech's changed the warning sound to the "Run away! Run away!" sound bite.

The MP troop had fun even with John's Cleese's speech at Graham Chapman's funeral.

Do you think Graham would have wanted it any other way? I don't.

"Wot's he gonna do? Bite my bum?!" from when the black night is threatened by the killer bunny. I think that's from the Holy Grail. Hilarious movie.

"QUIT GAWPIN'!!!... LIKE YOU NEVER SEEN THE 'AND O' GOD BEFORE"

"LEARNIN' THE PIANO!... MARCHING UP AND DOWN THE SQUARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU?...RIGHT...OFF YOU GO!"

"Just remember that you're standing on a planet that's evolving, and revolving at 900 miles an hour. And travelling at 90 miles a second, so it's reckoned, 'round a sun that is the source of all our power. The sun, and you and me, and all the stars that we can see.....and pray that there's intelligent life, somewhere out in space, 'cause there's bugger all down here on earth."

"This is the machine that goes PING!"

"Every sperm is sacred...every sperm is great...if a sperm is wasted...God gets quite irate..."

Love the M.Python group:
Fav lines from Life of Brian: We-Wease(Release) Woobin(Reuban) !!! From the crowd scene whereby crowd pleads for lives of prisoners from P. Pilot(?) and keep asking for names that exploit his speech impediment!

Ps. Hilarious to have 'runaway, runaway sound byte computer alarm system . I wd have paid money to hear that at work.

The Albatross skit and the Idiot song. Also enjoyed the ending of the program walking through a field with mines. Anyone ever watch a program called 'The Goodies'
