Posted: 3/21/2006 12:10:26 AM | Ok my nipples were hard at the time but it was about 7 degrees and I was flying on my motorcycle (a real one not american junk) I had to be in Halifax at 7am and was dropped off by ferry from New Brunswick... had a long way to go and little time. I was ripping through a tiny town doing 150km/h it was 5ish am and in the main cross streets two cars blocked off the road and blue lights flashing. It was police... I pulled up and stopped. They asked and I produced my lic, id... and they were happy to see a tourist from the west they waved me through with smiles. I love the East Coast!

Oh and by the way, I had only met 3 other vehicles that night on the road before getting stopped... so it was surreal.
I did hear of a friend who was pulled over to "chat" but the cop wanted an affair...

On the Sea-to-Sky he got nabbed going 20 over- but he spotted the cop car immediately and pulled right over. The cop let him off because he "didn't have to risk his life chasing him"
2nd: Got caught speeding down Nancy Greene Way (from Grouse Mountain). Said to the cop "First my boss yells at me, and has taken it out of me all day, my WIFE hates me now and was just yelling at me, I'm late for my sons ball game and now this?" Cop let him off.

Most cops tend to be pretty nice guys if you catch them in a good mood
Well I think he/she should have nailed my 17yr old to the cross! LOL....How is he going to learn responsibility? It's bad enough I can't get the one passenger rule through his head! | |

She got nabbed by a cop who was parked in a very sneaky spot. When he got up to her window, before he could say anything, she burst out while laughing, "Why, you miserable little **stard!! I didn't even see you! Where the hell were you hiding?!?"
The cop couldn't get a word out because he started laughing too... she was let off, and yeah, if they're in a good mood, there's usually not a problem.
Never even tried to bribe a cop with anything other than a bright smile and a polite tone. ;) | |

Another story...
My dumba$$ ex-husband used to drink and drive all the time (can't count how many times he's had a DUI)... one time, he got stopped and the officer ran the gamet of tests on him... at one point the officer asks him to recite the alphabet BACKWARDS. My dumb ex says, "I can't do that when I'm SOBER!!!" Gotcha. Slapped on the cuffs and away he went. What a dumba$$!!!!  | |

dont try laughing or calling cops names .. it just doesnt work. Believe me i tried it, or something similar...but then i am a guy. I have also tried complimenting a very cute female police officer while i was drunk. I nearly had my very own Rodney King moment, also not good. Stick with fluffing the girls, its one of the biggest distractions on the planet for males, females for that matter cant "not" take a peak...but that could work against you ..LOL
As to the Seventeen year old driver, getting off, and all those things he should have got pegged on. I agree a little time strung up on a cross would do him wonders.
But instead of giving him grief about it ..cause its clearly not working .. what about just making all his sets of car keys disappear for awhile.
When i was a teenager and changed gears only when the car readlined, or took corners at speed so a handbreak skid was the only thing to get me around safely without flipping... or i thought speed limits were a "suggestion" by old farts who were all Sunday drivers who had never felt that buzz you get once you exceed 200kph ... but when my Mum took away my keys and told all my friends "why" .. and the laughter and ribbing began .. that really hurt.
Did i learn .. maybe :-)

So we are all out at a local pub for a body painting venue, its summer time and we are all taking shots of tequila and getting the naked painted girls to pose with my buddies bike LOL. So Im positive that we were the LOUDest people in there... and my gf and I are all over, talking to everyone and having a great time.. Suddenly.. WE HAVE THE BEST IDEA... we'll go skinny dippin at the river.... cause its a sobbering experience.. We leave.. my gf in our friends jeep and myself, and friend on the bike... Off we go into the night.. Driving down the highway, my gf flashes us from the jeep .... so I flash her back.. we laugh and continue on to the river... we make it almost there and we lose a damn mirror off the bike... trying to see it in the dark on a four lane bloody highway, at 3 in the morning.. F^ck it we say, leave it there and finally reach our destination. We swim and jump off the cliffs... and head er back to town... We get all the way to the edge of town and there's a cop beside us.. And the challenge begins.. My buddy says to me, figuring I wouldnt dare do anything to ahhh cop... Hey, I dare you to flash that cop... With out saying a word, I lift my top all the way up lean back a little bit and flash the cop a big grin. He goes five different shades of red, waves for us to just keep going because hes turning... shakes his head and laughed so hard.... my buddy is shocked we didnt get arrested, but hey it was his own fault.. the look on that cops face... well let me just say....... It was priceless...   | |

Posted: 6/12/2006 11:47:40 AM | the sea to sky has a lot of cops on it but they will generally let most off with a warning, otherwise theyd have to pull EVERYONE over on it. the best i did was i talked my way out of a ticket where i was clocked at 140 just past brandywine falls (the big 4 laner). but i had a whistler DL back then...probably wouldnt go over too well now with the AB DL. like others have said, if youre nice, considerate about pulling over and cool about it, theyre generally pretty cool too.
however, the cops on the #1 between Hope and Chilliwack are merciless and will ding you as much as possible, no matter how nice you are! not even my cute doggie in the back seat could save me! i can usually talk my way out of a ticket, but not in this nice little stretch of hiway. 3 trips along there recently and 3 speeding tix! nuts! im heading that way on fri, so hopefully i can avoid a 4th! | |

the best/worst one was oct.31 04 got stopped doing 140 in a 50...boy was he mad...and no that wasnt my ticket...they got called away...I was SOOOO lucky

Ages ago I worked with this girl... and she had a twin. Her twin was a blonde, buxom barbie doll/model type, very sweet but a sharp tongue.
The twin had this slick black convertible sports car... of course driving a little faster than she should have. Flashing lights were soon behind her and she pulled over. The Police Officer had obviously thought he was "all that", you know, being all macho like. He asked her, "where's the fire?"
She replied, "Its under my pantiless skirt, and your hose isnt big enough to put it out."
After a few seconds, the police officer without saying a word just walked back to his car and pulled away.

A cop friend of mine told me that if I were to go into the RCMP I would be guaranteed to be stationed in BC. I know that cops used to get time and a half for showing up in court, but that has since been deleted. Probably why cops aren't as willing to show up anymore. | |
