Then there is a medium in Meaford who is unbelievable in her accuracy. I've been to her place twice - she's come to do a number of readings at my place.
She was able to pick up things like:
My husband was in the hospital, but didn't die in the hospital and while he died at home it wasn't at our home (it was at his brother's house where we had lived up till 2 months before)
That he needed me to forgive him before he could move on (he committed suicide and I was very angry)
That I had a guardian angel - a woman who had died very young of lung problems (my mother died of lung cancer at 49)
My father and grand mothers' names
and that was in the first reading.
The one at my home was strange - she started out by saying that Bill was still at the house - but not all the time
then she asked who the important Capricorn in my life was - and I told her my son Mike
she then said "Bill is laughing - he says Mike is a Virgo"
I told her that was a different Mike that I was dating and she said he's away right now isn't he? I said yes - and she said - well he's trying to contact you. I thought that was strange since the phone hadn't rung. Yet when I went down to my computer afterwards there was an MSN "wink" from him which came while I was in with her.

She's been doing it for years, and only advertises by word of mouth. She turns 75 this summer! She's just too cool! Sometimes she hits, sometimes she misses, and some things are still out there in potential land.
I have also had other friends who had the gift of vision and interpreting vision.
Me, I've always been open to that sort of thing, but a lot of people just think I'm crazy!  | |

Posted: 6/30/2006 12:50:31 PM | I've been to two psychics in my life: one in Niagara Falls last summer, and one in Salem, MA two years ago. The one in Salem was amazing!!! She knew so much about my past, and she (so far) has pegged my future. The lady in Niagara was good, too......she nailed a lot of my past and present dead on, but she said I'd meet a man in the fall that would be my friend first and that it would blossom into romance..........didn't happen.
*shrugs*
Maybe she meant fall 2006 and not 2005. | |

I once called a radio psychic and she told me I would have three boys/kids and I have only carried one to 4 months. I doubt I will have any more--getting too old.
I am looking forward to this weekend tho. I am a skeptic to a point but who knows if I will be a devout after I see him. | |

I thought it was just a bunch of general statements that applied to everyone (yes, we have all lost someone we love, we all have grand parents!)…you get what I mean.
I rolled my eyes in thought as she told me that I was going to Mexico (been twice and no plans to go back) and that I was going to live in Vancouver….ya, sure…whatever!!!
I ended up going to Mexico a few years later and lived in Vancouver for 8 years!!!!
Every so often I pull out the taped session and I’m amazed at some of the things. Never went again and can't remember what town she was in. | |

I'm really sorry to resurrect a dead thread, however the users I wanted to message are no longer part of this site, unfortunately.
Does anyone know of any reputable psychics/mediums in the Toronto/GTA area? I've been wanting to go to one for a while now, as I haven't been in years. I remember the one I went to was really good, and a lot of her predictions came true, but for the life of me I can't remember her name.
I'm looking for one that also allows you to tape record the session. I've called numerous psychics who won't allow the taping of sessions.
Please don't give their names here, as I don't think the mods like that very much, but I would appreciate anyone who can send me a message with the name of a reputable psychic. Thank you!!
Also, in anyone's opinion, what is better to see? A psychic or a medium? | |

She said I would go to Mexico, I had already been twice and no plans to go again. Said I would move to Vancouver, I had no reason to be there and didn’t know anyone. It was all for fun and a very long time ago!
I did end up going to Mexico twice after that and lived 8 years in Vancouver! | |

She knew that I was pregnant even though I hadn't told anyone yet. I didn't even tell her when she said "if you aren't already, you will be pregnant very soon, having the child by September". She was born August 12.
Although she was already getting up there in age and this was over 16 years ago. She is /was very well known in this area.

He told me we were done, and to get out asap.
He even knew we were together.
these guys just read body language really well.
On the other hand, I once believed that every single person was born with the entire universe's knowledge in their brain, and experience unlocked the doors to that knowledge as we grew. It would be likely that in a small sampling of the worlds population that some of the door wernt locked. | |

Yep have had a couple of these readings done by london psychic's which were said to be very very right on with their predictions . Heck the one said I would fall in love and be married by the time I was 25 years of age and I am still single and 51. And the other one predicted I would be retiring at age 30 with out any money worries /I would marry a tall slim blonde &this would all happen with in 2 years from his prediction date. Well thats 23 years ago and I think he was looking at a playboy mag before I had the reading !LOL
I also currently have one of those so called psychics on line who is an Oprah winfree favorite psychic doing the weekly readings and nothing even she has said is happening. But I am constantly being asked to pay for a full length indepth reading . And if any psychic is expecting a buck from me then they would have too prove to me they can at least predict one thing thats gonna be coming true .
But if you like what they say and think its fun to do then hey its your money spend it on as many psychics you like . As for me I'll stick to what ever happends happends and I don't need a psychic .

Posted: 4/30/2007 11:26:54 PM | I did. I actually started a 'first date' with a trip to a local psychic. Was fun and a great way to get to know interesting things about people you're just beginning to get to know.
I've always thought that the good psychics (on the assumption that they are not real) are just people who employ the same tricks that good retail sales people use -- pick up on things said, and ask leading questions to get information that 'appears' psychical (is that a word?). Anyway ... I did notice that this psychic picked up on my musical interests very quickly and I was making a point to not give her any clues about this, which I thought was kind of neat. And she did pick up that my date and I didn't know each other very well, when we had made a point ahead of time to look like a 'couple'. Again, interesting stuff. As far as her predictions and other things, well I don't really remember now as it was quite a while ago and I never bothered writing anything down. I think though that no matter what the outcome, it would take more than a trip or two to a psychic to make me fully believe such things. Let's just say it was an interesting and entertaining few hours and a great way to start a first date. I highly recommend it.

I was prego.....and the only one who knew was my mom........but her 3 sisters all went first....and they got a tape of thier reading....on each one of them.......she descibes a girl.....in total detail....of being prego and having a girl.....but they do not know who it is ...just that ..it is family, but since the GIRL...has not told anyone yet.......the phsyic will not tell them the name....so they start guessing and thankfully many of us all have similiar features......
Then my mom and my other sis go..........and same stuff.....only she tells my mom.....that I am the one prego....and carrying a beautiful girl.......describes my unborn daughter to a tee...
Of course I had to go..........and OMG........not only did she tell me my past, present.....but my future..........OMG..........I left the tape behind at my moms.....which was a huge mistake........and life goes on........I had that beautiful girl, and like she said and seen, had my tubes done.....but still had a boy ten years later...and this is what she predicted.....she seen the operation, but she seen him late in life.......things I thought were totally impossible and ludicrus.....
.but.......there was warnings in that tape.....which I should of taken more seriously........because after a very lengthy abusive marriage.......my mom produces the tape.....almost 20 years later.....and says.........YOU SHOULD OF LISTENED TO HER.........dammmmm.......lol.........oh well I guess if your going and the person / phsyic.....is that close to the past and the present........one really should head the warnings of the future..... | |

She is located in Fesserton, ON and she reminds me so much of Estelle Getty-even the attitude when she talks.
