| anyone ever had a psychic reading from an Ontario psychic? Posted: 1/1/2008 1:22:52 AM | I used to organize the psychic fairs in Brantford. I would have them give me a demonstration of their skill level and if I was impressed – I would let them have a booth. If I wasn't impressed – I judged them a charlatan and they didn't get in. Simple as that. I ran across some good ones and some really bad ones. My skills included hand and eye reading and to make thing fair – we would swap skills.
Some of the things I have come across have made a believer out of me. Brantford has (had) a few good ones but I have been out of touch for some time and some have moved and some have passed over since then.
It's easy to get taken by the bad ones and I recommend going by reputation – not price. The best advertise by word of mouth and work out of their homes. I suggest you attend a Spiritualist Church and ask around for recommendations if you want a good lead.
Best of luck...
Randy

| anyone ever had a psychic reading from an Ontario psychic? Posted: 1/1/2008 7:13:54 AM | spiritualmedium.ca.. his name is Chris and is in Alliston. I went to him almost a year ago and he's awesome, very professional and talks in great detail , works over the phone or face to face. I'm going back again for sure and will never go back to anyone else i've ever been to. It would also be difficult to get me to see someone else. | |

Posted: 1/4/2008 10:57:01 PM | I agree with Stardust and have an appointment next Saturday with that psychic at the local Psychic fair in Windsor......I am generally not a person to be drawn into hogwash and crystal balls but did have a reading 6 months ago with the same psychic and she is very gifted. She's located in London, Ontario, not too far of a drive from Toronto. E mail me if you want her info and I'll send it on to you.

| anyone ever had a psychic reading from an Ontario psychic? Posted: 1/28/2008 10:37:42 AM | I called a psychic once and when they asked "who is it?" I knew they must be bogus so I hung up.
On another note. . .I used to frequent a chatroom in yahoo called PHYSICS a few years ago. Three or four times an hour different aliases would enter the chatroom and ask for a "reading". Sometimes we told them to put the palms of their hands against their screens so we could read for them. I wonder how many sat there like that and for how long.

| anyone ever had a psychic reading from an Ontario psychic? Posted: 1/28/2008 12:59:27 PM | I once heard about a psychic fair here in London a few years back, and the one of the participants actually missed it because they had the date wrong. This is true, as they said it on the radio and were making a big deal about it. Not much of a psychic eh? I read Tarot cards but have never had the courage to visit a psychic for some reason. I know many went to a psychic booth at the Western Fair this past Fall and said the person was good, other said mediocre. I don't question that some people can get vibes off of other people, but some, not all, are just in it for the rip off aspect. | |

| anyone ever had a psychic reading from an Ontario psychic? Posted: 1/28/2008 4:19:56 PM | I've experienced the whole thing from a few ends...
1st off: If you've ever had doubts as to whether psychics are real, I can definitly tell you YES!!! But like anything else in life, there are folks who are good & not, at what they do. (see the thread about real estate agents on here!)
I've known people who had various levels of abilities & like many things in life, the earlier on & the more you practice, the better you get at it. But for psychic abilities, it seems to make quite a difference if it runs in the family.
WE ARE ALL PSYCHIC, TO SOME DEGREE - Everyone has a story about them, a friend/relative, having some intuition to do/not do/go somewhere... with big consequenses. Very young kids have more of a gift that the average person gives them credit for, as do most animals. Want to know if your next date is a decent person? Introduce them to your dog or 5 year old (ever wonder why some babies freak out when certain people enter a room?), appearances can be decieving (BTW, I have a BAD feeling about Obama!).
Anyway, back to the main topic: I once saw a cartoon of a guy reading a sign that said, "Psychic Fair, you know when & you know where..." Which pretty well sums up my view of that whole thing, either you can do it or you can't. "Psychics" who put ads in the paper are con artists, plain & simple. There was an episode of "Southpark" where Cartman was telling everyone point by point how John Edwards was doing his tricks, it's a scam technique called "phishing". When I took psychology courses, they had a "Psychic" come in, some (very!) old little lady who was little clued out at times. She said something to the class whiz about him losing someone & he said "Yeah, he hit his head on a boat propeler..." & she went into more detail. But afterwards, he said he made that up, but that didn't stop her from running with it.
"Psychics" are SUPPOSED to be "evolved" caring, loving, people... But a few (in their 50's) that I met at the local "Psychic Fair" that rolls into Cornwall once or twice a year, were just the opposite. Very negative, bitter, spiteful people, you could literally feel the negative energy coming of of them. Especially after I had bonded so to speak, with some younger guys that were there.
An average reading costs anywhere from $20 to $40, but often it's more at fairs. Though generally speaking, I'd advise not to pay more, because then they're not on the level. REALLY GOOD Psychics have plenty of people going for their services strictly by word of mouth, because they CAN deliver the goods.
So, use your intuition! There are good & bad everywhere...
PS - puzzles are a great way to stimulate your intuition!

I'd say most of them do lots of cold reading and are in fact, frauds overall
anybody who did have this gift (in my opinion) wouldn't be broadcasting it to the world. while stranger things exist in reality than fiction . . . I just don't think that anybody who could do this would be particularly open about it . . .humans tend to distrust things like this in general

| anyone ever had a psychic reading from an Ontario psychic? Posted: 2/5/2008 7:34:55 AM | I had to change my email so anyone who emailed me looking for a psychic reading Im sorry. The new email address is sweetrumy@msn.com I work in the windsor to london ontario area . I will travel for a party and reasonable rates, those farther if they wish I can do in email or messenger.
Now there is sometimes some skepticism about the truth to readings, and yes there are some bad ones out there just like getting a bad plumber. You have to check them out first and at least go with your gut feelings. Now there isnt much accredited information out there for psychics. So mostly its years of experience and of course your own experience with them. I teach a class monday nites on buzzen.net, under interests, the learning circle room, and anyone wishing a free read your welcome to attend. Love and Grace Leeta

| anyone ever had a psychic reading from an Ontario psychic? Posted: 3/14/2008 8:38:15 PM | I have had 2, both wastes of time and money. One from Cambridge, one from near Milverton. As far as I know they are both deceased.
Anyway, according to both I am supposed to be well off and enjoying retirement with my wife. Science fiction.

| anyone ever had a psychic reading from an Ontario psychic? Posted: 3/19/2008 5:39:23 PM | Yes, I have. Three actually. One woman in Brantford, who told me some scary stuff....all came true. All she did was 'read' from my bracelet that she held in her hand. Wish I knew her name, now. One lady in London who is awesome! She was at the psychic expo in Windsor, too. She tapes her readings. She is always right on the money. Two years ago at the Windsor Expo, I showed up late, and couldn't get into see anyone. One man read me for free, cause I was sitting at the table alone, waiting for a friend to get done with her reading. He told me things that made me cry, in a good way. He said that I was giving off so many vibes he had to come and see me. No, he wasn't hitting on me either. All I remember is his name was Peter. He was the best! He told me bad times were a coming. His warning was welcome. I was prepared. | |

| anyone ever had a psychic reading from an Ontario psychic? Posted: 8/8/2008 1:22:05 PM | The xgf and I went to a psychic fair here in Hamilton. The xgf went for a tarot card reading and while psychic was doing the reading she eventually turned to me and told me a few things. The results where mostly general things you'd get from a reading. There was a couple things that got our attention aswell. End result being that none of what the psychic said has come true. | |

| anyone ever had a psychic reading from an Ontario psychic? Posted: 8/8/2008 8:19:01 PM | I went for a physic reading 9 years ago... i was told things would get worse before they got better... isn't that how life goes??
she said that I would eventually have kids... in a few years from then but not in the near future ... I was 5 months pregnant at the time with my daughter....
so they aren't always accurate!!!

| anyone ever had a psychic reading from an Ontario psychic? Posted: 10/4/2008 9:28:09 PM | I had a psychic reading here in London about 6 years ago.
What I was told with the tarot cards was a total joke.......truly, it was.
However - when she read my palms............honest to Gawd - the hair on the back of my neck stood up. What she could tell me about my past was UNCANNY - it really spooked me.
I would love to have my palms read again - but to be honest........I just wonder if some things are best left 'unknown'..............
