Posted: 10/25/2008 10:49:08 AM | I have gone to two in my day. Both were flops, one was hired for tarot at a company park function and the other was in Niagra Falls.
I can honestly say that they were completely off in every way shape and form. And the things they tell you is so vague that it can be generalized to anyone really.
"You will experience great loss but will come back stronger then ever", um yeah, it's called a break up and it happens to everyone.
Save your money, it's all a scam and if they truly have powers then shouldn't they be able to see what course of action in their own lives they can take to have everything they want instead of some crappy job where you wear cheap scarfs and look into a glass ball that you can pick up in wal-mart? | |

The psychic used tarot cards and a crystal ball for the readings. She read 8 or 9 people that night and some of the things she told me and the others were uncanny -- there was no way she could have known or guessed those things. A few weeks before my reading I had taken my cat to the vet and was told that she had liver disease and wouldn't be around much longer. During my reading the psychic told me not to give up on my cat because she would be around for a while yet. That was a year ago and the cat is still kicking. I've had 3 more readings from the same reader and each one has been pretty damn accurate. She is a very spiritual woman and it very interesting to talk to. I'm not about to plan my life around what she has told me has helped me think a lot of things through. | |

I have been reading through this thread with some interest. As a Spiritual Medium in London Ontario I wanted to offer my thoughts on what I have read so far. I am a member of a Spiritualist Church here in the city and working together with another member to bring about some changes in how mediums "psychics" are viewed. It has been many years of back yard "fortune tellers" tossing out negative and unusual (for want of a better word) information and running off with your hard earned money. This of course promotes mediums as being scam artists with "head scarves and crystal balls" Those seeking a genuine reader really need to reach out to the Spiritualist churches or rely heavily on word of mouth to ensure you are getting exactly what you are paying for. A true medium will never:
Accept negative information nor give it out
Offer to remove "curses"....that's the best so far and its simply wrong
Accept your money if they feel the connection is not there....they will refer you elsewhere.
The signs of a genuine medium:
We don't need flashy websites with blinking tarot cards to advertise ourselves!
We will be upfront with you if we are having difficulty with a connection.
We will NEVER read for a teen...this is important.....ANYONE can read a teenager.....watch for mediums who agree to read younger people!!
We will often work for donation..............ours is a gift that we cannot attach a price too.
Because we are affiliated with the Spiritualist movement our intention is never to cause any harm, fear , alter your free will or take your money. Our only intention is to offer a reading that is genuine, spirit based, and comforting. We always want our clients to walk out of our homes feeling BETTER than they did when they first walked in. If we cannot do that then we are not honoring our abilities or spirit. It is that simple.

Its about time that someone has set the record straight. Yes there is alot of frauds out there. But overall most of us working in the field try to make a difference in peoples lives, maybe just by listening or giving good advice on what is coming up. My readings are based on my motto that everyone leaves feeling better than they did when they walked in. I have had countless people arrive at my door who have just split with hundreds of dollars of hard earned money to ensure a "curse is removed". It angers me that these people pray upon the fear of the unknown.....and these people will have some lessons to learn when they pass into spiritual life....rest assured. Genuine mediums are out there......I have worked with some of Ontario's best and most respected. It is simple. Be careful....we all have that gut instinct.......use it! If your gut says it feels wrong then take your money and run!

Posted: 12/9/2008 1:32:06 PM | I just had another psychic reading last weekend and for the most part she was pretty good. She was wrong when asking some things about my current situation but for the most part she was right on!
the last psychic I saw didn't use any tarot cards and stuff like that and I didn't tape record that session but this time I did.
The psychic I saw this time used tarot cards, palm reading and read the tea leaves.
I haven't had a chance to listen to the tape as I want to jot down some of the key points that I should pay attention to.
She had good news about health for me and my family which would be the big question you have for a psychic lol.
A lady who is in the health field with brown hair will be coming into my life as a potential fishie. I should have asked her how soon that will be lol.
Also I remember her telling me that "the spirt guide" sees me as a funny guy and should get into stand up comedy. I have been told I am a funny guy and that I should be a comedian so I may give this a shot someday!
She liked to talk about herself too which didn't really help me! Get back to talking about my future not yours lol
Thats all I'm gonna say for now I don't want to jinx it but if you got brown hair, are smart, in the health field and like me you may be the one the psychic is talking about

I've been able to convince people I'm psychic by doing cold reasons. They geniusly benelived I was psychic.
Plus, if I am wrong in a code reading so what? Lets say I get 2/3 cold readings wrong, then 1/3 I get right. And the idiotic 1/3 will say how psychic I am. | |

Hi was wondering if anyone has gone to a good psychic in Windsor Ontario or knows a pof member who does readings.
If it'll help you out, I'll call myself a psychic & do a reading for you... I'm sure I'm as much a "psychic" as anyone else calling themself a "psychic".
The good psychic would pick up the phone before it rang. Of course it is possible there was noone on the other line. Once she said "God Bless you" I said, "I didn't sneeze" She looked deep into my eyes and said, "You will, eventually." And damn it if she wasn't right. Two days later I sneezed.

Actually, I DO have psychic ability. I know there's going to be a murder-suicide in the summer ( not sure which summer tho) and it will take place near a river ( or possibly by a street named River or a business or building with River in the name ( or possibly some other water reference). | |
