We can all think we have an ideal age group we want to date.. but at the end of the day.. it's the 'spark' between 2 people that dermines whether or not they are going to go go out with each other, not the age!

The only problem with dating sites, is that unless we date all ages, and most of us specify a preferance, we will never know what we might be missing........

Date then all, then you won;t miss anything lol

I'll date guys up to 10 years older than myself, or a couple of years younger.

My boyfriends have always been older, I find I get on with them a lot better and they, um, know what they're doing a bit better!

I've never put restrictions on age really but I don't know that I would date someone younger.

If the saying is true then blokes should be after slightly younger women and girls should be looking at slightly older fellas.

I hope that saying is true MrF as i cant find any women around my age!!

In my opinion, we more mature women are NOT as old as men our age are....
Prime example...I have been trying to meet men in my own age group, but the ones I have met are way, way, much older looking!!! So, I have to backpeddle on the age difference...my last b.f was 11 yrs my junior and still looked well passed his sell by date lol
Cmon you ladies, back me up here eh?

I'm with Luvsfun2.. men do age quicker than women in mind and body.... I have tried dating older guys, and guys of my own age.. but i'm just not ready to settle down and knit yet, while he snores in the armchair. ........give me a younger man everytime..

I have always preferred women who are older than me, but I think that at the end of the day when love hits you have to go with the flow. If you go into things with preconceptions you risk missing out on the best things in life!

Youngest guy I dated was a 12 years younger and lasted 3 years - must admit, I never considered it ever becoming permanant!

Oldest was 10 years older.

These days I prefer the age difference to be within 5 years either way.....

Stereotypical Young bloke., the idea of an older woman attracts me. In all seriousness as long as people have things in common what difference does it make. Love is blind, so surely it is blind to age

ok age is it really important if you both have a fire burning inside for each other , the only thing i find people think about is ( im 41 at mo) but if i was 60 for example would you still be interested in me if you were only 40. Dave

A couple of months seems like a good age difference to me. Either way - I don't mind being the older woman.

I think age is irrelevant between two single adults, except for statistics. I reckon young go for young and old go for young, because there are more of them available. I reckon there would be more likelyhood statistically, of two people clicking and being comfortable if they are of a similar age, because of social pressures.

Age isn't that important but energy is... you gotta have a balance when it comes to that.
