Hello.......there Sir.

Is careful not to ride too close or maybe just ahead of him.....seeing the bridges burning behind him.

Exactly what might your admirable features and credentials be Sir?

By the way my name is Connie.......and there is nothing trashy about me.

blinks at the gutsy guy from Texas.
Are you going to be at the ride in October by chance Sir?

smiles so so sweetly.

Tank,
That YZF is a nice lookin bike. That was going to be one of my choices when I bought my new one this spring. I ended up with aSuzuki SV650S and I am having a blast with it!
Ride safe and enjoy that bike.

Hi all,

I have an 82 nitehawk. I love that thing! Nothing better than a long ride on a warm day with someone you like. Hoping to get a harley in the future but for now will keep riding and waving on my honda. Ride safe everybody!

It's almost riding season! Let's start this thing back up. Anyone with the pet peeves about the road?
I got ran off the road twice last year, both times on the freeway. Both times riding in a group. First time a mini-van with Ma&Pa looking me in the eyes. The second time by an all gray semi ( even the windows).
After riding for over 35 years, I have plenty of complaints about cages.

I just found a new biker's website last evening.

B.A.C.A. Nation

You really should check this one out. I don't know if there is a Columbus Chapter or not, but it might be something to think about starting.

Sorry loki, I didn't know that riding season ended. Normally I would have been on the bike several times over the winter, but I have strict orders that there is no bike riding for me until sometime after the end of March.

There is a new law that several groups are trying to get passed that have to do with right of way. You might want to check the ABATE site for that and see if you can help out in any way.

TO the boy from Texas. ( Now prove me wrong by NOT ignoring part of my post.) I do not know what your problem is, If you got out into the world you would find out more about people. The largest growing sector riding cycles is the Senior group. These are Retired respectable people or people that raised there kids, payed off there house and then got a bike to enjoy life. I ride a Truimph not a Harley, because I am old school and proud of it. I shower daily and hold a job in a Technical field. If you are going to generalize why not join some of the groups that do good with there bikes and learn about the people in Ohio. Now to add to the fight I understand that there is only two things in TEXAS Steers and blank,9 you know the old saying) which one ar you.

Today was a great day, my business partner and I took our bikes out and headed to lunch.. Hated to come back to the office! I recently replaced the factory exhaust with a new Vance & Hines Big Radius setup, sounded great!

Tina, I day dream about you on the back of my bike wearing what you did last summer! Wouldn't be a safe ride... for you.

Yesterday was such a nice day I took my bike outat lunch time. Had so much fun I thought I'd ride it down to ADFarrow's and finaly get those saddle bags I've been wanting. I called them prior to heading over and asked how long it would take to put them on. They told me 4.5 hours! I think their hourly rate is either $65 or $85. So I drove over instead and sinply bought them. I'll install them myself today and bet it will only be an hour at most! I asked about the forward controls while I had them on the phone and got gouted 8 hours for that! They want over $750 to install $239 worth of parts! wtf!

WOW! Let me start off by saying....I think you are missing the whole biker ideology...It is based on "FREEDOM" ...To hear someone talking about how a person is dressed or if they are a CEO? Come on, just because you bought a bike doesn't mean you are a biker... you bought a motorcycle....that's all it means. A "biker" is a "state of mind". Being a biker is not a phase of life, it is a life. It doesn't matter if you are rich or poor, it matters what is in your soul. That is all. It is a simple way of life inside, deep, but simple. Remember the phrase "Don't tread on me" ? If not ...look it up...get the meaning, and live it. Oh ya, if you have never left your house on your bike even though you knew it was going to rain.....you are probably just a bike owner....

Thanks for listening,

Ok, I want to learn to drive a motorcycle this year, and I've been checking out the options. Unfortunately, the next opening in the state classes is in October, or possibly August, if I'm willing to drive to a different county. But the cost of those classes is only $25. I can take the classes at AD Farrows sooner, for the price tag of $295. Of course, as the nicer weather approaches, I'm anxious to get started, but I was hoping anyone would offer pros and cons of the two classes, to help me make a decision.
Thanks!

Well I took the state offered program ($25.00) and I was happy with it, even thou I didnt get my license, I did learn a lot. I have a friend that took the AD Farrows one and he highly recommended it, saying they work with you until you get it. So I guess it depends on how much experience you have( I had NONE) The state one has so many people in it and a set amount of time and my experience was they couldnt spend enough with me, for what I needed. I think I was the least experinced rider there and just needed more one on one time or just more experience on the bike. So in my opinion it really depends on how much you need , how much you can spend and how soon you want it....hope this helps
