I have a great career.
I am a fulltime single dad with a 13yr old. daughter at home.
I am educated BS computer science and MBA.
I have lived all over the world.
I love the arts.
I am a nice guy.
I am loyal.
I don't care what a womans body looks like (I am more into faces.)
I only want women from 40 and older.
Ok now here is the where woman just run away:
1. I am 5'10" for some reason woman want guys who are at least six feet.
2. I am skinny everywhere except around the middle.
Most woman are completely not interested.
As far as I can tell woman are as much or more interested in looks than men. | |

Some of us over 40 women LIKE and prefer over 40 men, but no longer look like Barbie, done the kid thing so flat smooth belly is nonexsistant. Lady clairol is our best friend..but we still like men and their companionship. I don't golf.. but drive a mean cart...I like to fish ...if you bait my hook...I can bowl..if you aren't into pro-bowlers but laughs. You don't have to look like Ken (he had nothing going for him, thats why Barbie ran off with GI Joe) | |

But I can tell what most women really want is a man who can sweep them off there feet there knight in shining armor and if you aren't attractive (in there eyes), and like me not willing to give false hope that you are there knight in shining armor or you are there bad boy, we are going to have a hard time. Alot of women claim they don't like games but the truth is they love games as long as it is there game. I know alot of people are going to look at this an say how do you know that is because I have played the game and I have acted the part and the amount of women who liked it was astounding and I found that unattractive in a woman. If someone cannot like you for you then you shouldn't deal with them. I just feel that as I have gotten older most women aren't interested in you as a person but what you can offer them, and the more attractive they are is the more that is true!! There is always an exception to the rule but they are few and far between. | |

I can't speak for every woman out there, I can only speak for myself. To hell with the bad boys...although I will say they do have one trait that goes a long way with me. Confidence
Anyone can be a good actor and fake confidence. It is looks that help that confidence even have more effect and attract a woman. On the other hand, Players and bad boys know what to tell a woman because they know that is their weakness, what they hear.
A man needs to believe that a woman can like him. If he can make himself believe this, then he will flirt with her and raise the attraction. If he starts treating her right without anything having happened yet, she will get bored and label him as "friend". | |

Why is it always assumed that all attractive people have bad personalities adn unattractive or average people are "angels". There is no rule that says you can't find and attractive person that has just as good a personality as an unattractive person. And I know I've met unattractive people that have a bad personality as well. Some people think they are better than others and some are bitter because they aren't one of the "beautiful people". Let's face it, undesirable comes in all shapes, sizes, heights, colors, and sexes. You can't generalize people based on any physical attribute. | |

I would have to say since being on POF I have have dated several men most of whom I would not normally have been attracted to, but who turned out to be just what I was looking for, fortunatly one of them also really turns me on. That is the 1 thing that just happens or it doesen't, if it doesn't then it may seem as if we are not giving a guy a chance, but the reality is if it's not happening why waste time. I will also say I dated a few guys once or twice who I'm sure get a ton of emails, who were very good looking, confident to the point of arrogant, and very self absored, and I'm not seeing any of them any more. Once you really know what you are looking for it makes it a lot eaiser to weed out the ones who are just wasting your time and draining your energy. I'm rarely attracted to the a**holes you all seem to be describing. The funny thing is all the hotties I went out with would probably be shocked by who I ended up with. Hopefully it will last a long time and I won't have to weed thru the profiles anytime soon. Keep looking you will find who you are susposed to find. | |
