| Playoffs (NHL) Posted: 3/30/2006 8:52:12 AM | hehehehe! It's funny that my name is always mispelled as brain. It' nice to see it go the other way for a change. :o)
This is like the Ballard years for me. Hope for the Leafs during the rgular season and anyone that beats the Habs in the playoffs as the leafs never made them that much under Ballard. :o)

| Playoffs (NHL) Posted: 3/30/2006 3:24:07 PM | | Go Sens....with the Leafs out (WOOHOO) the only excuse left is...Get Healthy!!! The only ones left healthy on the blue line are Eastern Europeans, and you can't count on them. Bad enough we have a European captain. If only Redden or Phillips were the captain. | |
| Playoffs (NHL) Posted: 3/31/2006 1:24:26 PM | | If you didn't have European's on the Sens, you'd be battling the Leafs from a draft position. | |
| Playoffs (NHL) Posted: 3/31/2006 1:59:24 PM | Go Oilers =)
PS - the whole Canada/America thing ... most American teams have a good chunk of Candian Players on them and vice-versa ... that being said, Canada is and hopefully always will be the Kings and Queens of the Ice
And regardless of what anyone ever says the 1972 Canada/Russia tournement will always be the most famous hockey event ever ... yes, I was born in 1976 and didn't see or watch it live, but I have watched the whole series a number of times and it still is better then oany hockey I've seen since!!!
| Playoffs (NHL) Posted: 3/31/2006 2:32:53 PM | | It was only big to Canadians ,,to everyone else ,it was just an 8 game exhibiton series. No biggie. | |
| Playoffs (NHL) Posted: 3/31/2006 3:02:03 PM | | Probably will. The oilers are pulling it together right now and they made some excellent moves. Roloson needed some time to get warmed up and still doesn't seem quite 100% but the other aquisitions have been outstanding. | |

| Playoffs (NHL) Posted: 3/31/2006 8:16:29 PM | | haha leafs sorry to disappoint you! I could have coloured it up a bit for you! Kylie and I knew each other growing up but I hadn't recognized her right away on this site. And also that she knows Ataahua and he had mentioned 'brains' to her and she didn't know it was me! Ok this is sounding confusing even to me so I will stop now! :P | |

Sorry Bud if you took my comments as a "giving permission" statement. Wasn't meant to be.
OT: Yes, the 72 series was big to Canadians. Of course it only got big once we realized we weren't as strong as we thought we were. I'm sure everyone else didn't even know it existed.

| Playoffs (NHL) Posted: 4/1/2006 5:39:29 AM | | I guess the difference is that she knows you and I don't. It's all perspective. | |
| Playoffs (NHL) Posted: 4/1/2006 7:41:50 AM | | Oh the memories of the 72 series! I remember being on the school bus coming back from John Martin and the Busdriver having the radio on full blast for all of us to hear it. Such fun! | |
