I dated a few guys who all they wanted to do was sit in front of the TV and nosh.. and they have been on both sides of the spectrum.. so I would as long as he's active. | |

But a teddy bear, someone with some padding, I don't mind. And I have dated that type. I prefer someone who carries their weight well. And a cute face/nice smile doesn't hurt.
Everyone in my family is average to chunky. I'd rather have a teddy bear rather than skin and bones. I don't like deathly skinny men. They scare me! | |

Posted: 12/27/2005 11:45:36 AM | I have and I will again. I do prefer bigger guys. It all depends on the person. For me the person inside is a lot more important than the appearnce, but some kind of attraction is still crucial.
Maybe you are trying too hard. Myself I try to keep the first emails short, and do like you do, talk about things in common or traits I like about the person.
Anyway, that's my opinion

Posted: 12/27/2005 2:41:52 PM | hey scottymac I was yold not long ago that my size and my appearance is intiminating. I just looked at the girl that told me for I know her quite well. Now the talk was over a different issue than we are talking here but the thought struck me funny at the time. I asked her to explain to me what she meant. She did and I just laughed for she told me if she had not known me she would think I was mean and grumpy most of the time. She did however telll me i was a big ole teddy bear in the same sentence. This lady I have known for 32 years. thinking of maybe persueing her a mite. I asked her once if she would date a fat guy and she said why not as long as he is a nice guy and not mean or pushy with his size. that told me a lot at the time.
