| Nominations for Worst movie of all time Posted: 2/20/2009 5:22:21 AM | | David Dynch's first big movie, Eraserhead, has always been considered an inspired work...but aside from being mildly disturbing, I always found it boring. | |

| Nominations for Worst movie of all time Posted: 2/20/2009 6:26:50 AM | | There are a lot of bad movies that suffer from lack of a good cast or budget ,but a couple of movies that come to mind that can't use those excuses are The Doors and Postcards From The Edge.I think both of these movies got good reviews, but it was torture for me to sit through them and I'm a huge Meryl Streep fan. | |

| Nominations for Worst movie of all time Posted: 2/20/2009 1:38:34 PM | I've blocked the name of it from my mind, but it starred Ralph Fiennes and someone... there was a desert... a plane crash, I think... and the rest is a blur of boredom, but I believe it was nominated for an Oscar, and probably even won. Anyone know the movie I'm trying to think of (or obliterate)?? | |

| Nominations for Worst movie of all time Posted: 2/21/2009 12:58:11 PM | There's a couple I've seen recently:
Meet The Spartans - Maybe a grand total of one or two laughs throughout the entire movie, and that was being GENEROUS. I know the studios generally like these kinds of movies because they cost about six dollars to make and generate millions. At least Disaster Movie didn't do nearly as well, so that should hopefully curtail more of these movies being made. Oh, and lump Epic Movie in there as well, as that was another one I saw.
Scorpion King 2 - I know it's straight-to-DVD, so I shouldn't expect The Godfather here, but this sequel to a prequel is still a total s*** sandwich. The cinematic equivalent of Chinese water torture.
I also agree with the Blair Witch Project. What an overrated pile of dogs*** that thing was. There's subtlety, and there's three dumbasses running around with a camera in the woods.
And 10,000 BC. God, that thing was unoriginal AND boring. It was like watching gray linoleum curl during a rainy day.

| Nominations for Worst movie of all time Posted: 2/25/2009 3:54:12 PM | Well here we go first post ever to the Forums
I can think of 2 movies that would be a tie for the worst movie ever. The ones that go beyond the usual Hollywood formulas and raise to a new height in lows.
First nominee is "Whipped". Wow what a stinker. It was so bad they would not let the critics see it before it was released. No redeeming qualities at all.
Second Nominee "The Blair Witch Project". I could have done a less shaky movie if I strapped a camera to the head of a german shepard and played fetch in the forest. It probably would have been a better movie too. I got in to that one for free and still felt ripped off. I could not believe at the end of the movie people got up and clapped! Well it was Vancouver so maybe they were on something.
Those are the only 2 that stand out at the moment.

| Nominations for Worst movie of all time Posted: 3/1/2009 9:11:00 AM | The winners for the worst for me are,
The Day after Tomorrow. oh lord, saviour of all that is holy, save me from from climate change that unfolds over the span of a few weeks. With terrible acting to boot.
but my all time worst. It's so bad that I couldn't stop watching it, couldn't walk out. It was like watching a trainwreck in slow motion......
THE CORE, ugh, oy vey. wrong wrong wrongity wrong in all ways a movie should be.
PS - The God Must be Crazy is a classic. I put that one in the category of it's so bad it's awesome.

Bad Movies: Howard the Duck Night Stalker, the Richard Ramirez story Blair Witch Project Cloverfield Scream movies Night Listener
I agree 10,000 BC was a huge disappointment. Would have rathered a sequel to Clan of the Cave Bear.
I actually liked Tank Girl hehe.

| Nominations for Worst movie of all time Posted: 3/2/2009 5:42:19 AM | YES! 10,000 BC was the worst! Also, the English Patient was bad. Another nomination for Blair Witch Project. And have never been able to keep awake during Brokeback Mountain. So I can't comment on the whole movie! | |

| Nominations for Worst movie of all time Posted: 3/2/2009 6:56:44 AM | | I don't get Quentin Tarantino at all. Other than Jackie Brown and Resevoir Dogs , his movies are garbage IMO. Pulp Fiction I slept through 2 - 3 times, and Kill Bill should have been killed in development. I have avoided just about everything he's been involved in, until it plays on the movie network. | |

^^^^ Why would you bother to watch a movie more than once if you hated it?
Boring movies can still come in handy as a sleeping aid. Cheaper than pills and nonaddictive.
I've still never seen GWTW in one sitting...

People raved about it so much I wanted to see what the fuss was....lol. Once I saw the whole thing , one total viewing was enough.
Cloverleaf wasn't to bad, I hear they are maing a sequel.
