| Why do guys give fake numbers?
Posted: 4/3/2006 6:04:41 PM | Maybe you copied it down wrong.... If I gave a # as a girl was leaving, it would be kind of a last-ditch effort. Usually I'd prefer to exchange numbers or get her number at least earlier in the conversation. So the best-case scenario was that he's not good at picking girls up and waited til the last minute, and then there was a miscommunication and you have a bad number.

Projekt -- Thank you! The first guy on here who agrees with me! lol. The number was right -- I couldn't read it and asked him right then what it said and put it in my phone as he said it too, so that was not the case. But that was a good defense for him. ha!

I actually went to a POF party a while ago,,my friends,,the ones we met thier were actually going to bet to see how many times they coudl get hit on,,,yeah,,,,these were men sorry,,have no idea how the bet turned out(and truely did not care),,but those are the kinds of games sometimes that do happen,,,,

Posted: 4/4/2006 12:06:43 PM | why do guys give out fake numbers? well, because they aren't interested. it could be for some very legit reasons, married, gay, girlfriend, etc. that's why i don't ever ask a guy for his phone number. they do the same thing women do, instead of saying, "you're not my type...," they try to "be nice" about it, which of course, isn't very nice...
i once had a guy give me HIS phone number as i was getting ready to leave this one club (i hate when guys give me thier phone numbers... it is a pet peeve)... well, while i was waiting for my friend to get back from the restroom i watched this guy go right after target number two... it took him all of about 5 minutes to trundle over to some other girl, and start making his move... of course, i thought this was completely ridiculous... so, i walked over and simply handed him back his phone number... i said, " here, why don't i save you the trouble of having to fish around for another business card... "
