I have noticed though that I see alot more women driving trucks and SUV's. So here is an interestion question, if someone did have one, does it matter what kind? Would I be intimidated by the girl driving the huge Hummer? No, but I bet some are. | |

Question then, if the guy does enough driving during the day he still has to drive you around? Interesting.

Wow so all guys expect women to drive them around? Never knew that about me, since I never would ask anyone to drive me around town. Sad how a car will make a man desirable, yet it does not say anything about what kind of guy he is personally. I suppose these days possessions matter the most than who someone is? Wow. My buddy on here has 3 cars, one is a 1996 Jetta, well he took it to work, after work made plans to meet a girl from here. When she saw the car, she left.
He called me, asked me if it ever happened to me, can't say that it has ever, but stated to him, next time take the Viper LMAO lol

Oh my apologies to all the women who base their decision on if the guy has a car or not. I am in the wrong.it is no wonder I am still single, living in Toronto as I should in fact have a car, nice one at that, newer one at that, and be the one to pick her up, take her everywhere, pay for gas, pay for the insurance and pay for the date...of course because she had a long day at work and well...shit I did too BUT that is different.
Thanks for the insight into why I am single Kel2969, yes because i do not own a car I am single and should relaize this. But hey status, possessions they mean nothing to me. Those you can lose tomorrow. And what happens when the insurance rates go up, gs goes up and the guy would rather save money..ya be cheap I will say then, is he toast? Why a car says how someone is as a person, hey that is how I read into it..no car no date...meaning he is just not good enough...when did a vehicle make who someone is? If the reason being I am dateless is because i have no car? So be it, I live along the subway line, can get downtown in 20 minutes and if i drove, would take longer and cost more.
Would you rather a guy take you to a crap restaurant because he can't afford to go to a decent nice one? Not saying guys that all would not be able to, just pointing out not everyone who drives can afford other things if it is a car that is needed to get a date.
So Kel are guys without cars losers? Maybe you should be picking him up after he worked a long hard day. Or is that not acceptable? Not insulting you just pointing out that things should also then be even if in fact he has a car..no? | |

I guess I'm an old fashioned kind of guy in some senses. I would like to be able to pick the woman up from her house and drive her around town. I just find having a reliable car makes things 100% easier when it comes to dating a person. | |

No thanks for the cracker. And if I need a car just to date someone? I will gladly stay single and spend the money I save from not owning one on me then. Sorry but like I said I live in Toronto along the subway line. And many people here do as well and find no need to have a vehicle and be ripped for insurance and gas just because of living in the city. If I lived on the outskirts I would definitely have a car, but that would not be for getting dates.
To each their own, if the car is what matters then she is dating the car not you. May as well hand the keys over to her and say "here ya go have fun"
I am no different a person having a car or not, having a million bucks or a thousand. And so status symbols and possessions mean crap to me. But hey I will be single for many years because of that and frankly...I could care less. Like me for me not what I own. | |

New windows, plummer, ahh water heater tank, paint, new garage door opener, new fence in the backyard.
Maybe if the car was more important than my house I would let the house collect rust and not the car lol
Anyhow what is a car gonna do for me -- get me laid ??? at $90 to fill up my tank, I'll stick with the house right now. | |
