Posted: 10/7/2009 12:48:58 PM | Im 45 and I say its better being 6 ft above ground vs 6 feet below ground.
Life is good , no complaints, amazing career, good friends, loving family, godchildren are normal and not whack jobs and I get to travel.
Life is good at 45, cant wait for the next 45 years. | |

If anything; I've become more wiser about my travels, mor inclined & educated about my household "stuff", like changing the oil on the lawn mower, changing the air filter, etc. If anything; one isn't becoming older, but wiser. AND I will never settle for second when I want to do something .... even if it's solo & travelling as I do. | |

Posted: 10/8/2009 10:42:13 AM | I have no problem with aging personally, since I look younger then my age anyhow. Such is life.
But I have noticed for the first time how horrifically bad agism there is since I have started to show a few gray hairs this past year. The attitudes in the workplace and in the social world are very discouraging. Doesn't fill me with much faith about humans or the way young kids today today will accept the inevitable.

It is all about attitude. There are many more things you could be very sad or worried about, but turning 45 should not be one of them. Rejoice that you are healthy, vibrant, clear headed, beautiful inside and out, able to get up each morning and drink in the fresh air and sunshine. Help someone else out who is struggling or just needs a hug or a listening ear. Enjoy each day, it is precious. | |

Is is just that the women on POF are in good shape and look young for their age?

Posted: 10/12/2009 10:25:13 AM | 45 and I feel like I am going on 35. I love this age! Love my life, only thing missing is that someone to share it with. That will come, I know your out there, until then I am just enjoying everyday the best I can. I can't wait until 50 like cloud above me!
"Note" Being born on Leap Year and only having 11 actual b-days might have something to do with it but I don't think so! | |

I just turned 48 and am much more looking forward to being 50 than I am at going back and being 40
...Don't be too anxious. But since I got a good headstart, I'll can tell ya... it's not all that bad...but one hellva climb. Hope you're up for it.
