You seem to like it there.. so by all means go and enjoy! I just posted my opinion of it, just 'cuz it differs from yours no need to assess my party habits

Brivan - your thread on wreck beach bombed in the British Columbia Forum, and does it really pertain to Sex and Dating?? Are you suggesting that people should go to nude beaches for a date?
ON TOPIC : Nude beaches do have a lot of drugs - especially wreck beach.. you get old guys OH YEAH OLD GUYS, down there peddling magic mushrooms - selling joints - baggies - etc.. Wreck beach is also PRIVATE - it is not owned by the city - at least it wasn't when I was there so it is not policed as heavily as a public beach. I do not think it is the type of place that I would take my children to enjoy a little "HANGING OUT IN THE BREEZE", sure to each thier own.. but I can't see how this relates to this forum.. | |

So the police don't go down there, grand!.. That does not excuse the fact that THERE ARE DRUGS being sold BY OLD GUYS, on the beach.. They carry them around in their cooler bags, hollering MAGIC MUSHROOMS... lol.. so please dont try to pretend that this doesn't happen.. I HAVE been there..

Yes, there are drugs, but I find that people aren't in your face with it and for the most part aren't out of control. It's also true that the vendors can be annoying at times, but the trade off is food and drink delivered to your door.
As far as seeing people naked...it's not really why I go (not that I don't like what I see) but it's one place where you can truely feel foot loose and free. And it's totally away from the city, all you see is the ocean and the forest, what an oasis. | |

I found people are friendlier and more honest. With no costumes to make you look like someone your not, you tend to be......well themselves. As for sex Ive never seen anyone doing anything right there on the beach. Like any beach theres a few perverts out there (usually the ones who dont take their clothes off) but over all I prefer it to other beaches. I have been attending Wreck Beach since '91 and I have seen it change! Sure there are a lot of fat people and old people and odd looking people but they are not insecure! Most of you textile people dont even give them the time of day! HOW RUDE Secondly your born naked and then you die! So live a little, most of you haven't even been there and the rest of you who have been there and had a bad experience! Well Im sorry for that! We've, (The society for the preservaction of Wreck Beach) fought with the government, the satanist and the drug addicts to make it as safe as possible for you textiles to come on down! In '93 the security for Wreck beach was founded, (This is to you Completekaos) now those people that wander the beach selling there wears dont bother you until you call them down and you have to invite them to sit with you before they will even go near you beach towel! They also act as a liason to the security force that protects you! You see if you have a wierdo and to tell you the truth, they are the people that are wearing the clothes, the people selling the shyt when you tell them that a wierd guy or gurl is bugging you well talk to the right person and you well see me and my friends NAKED, kicking them off the beach and up the stairs we make a big scene and that way you are safe!!
The drugs, you guys should have been there when there was a drug problem! There used to be an Opium Den, a crack dealer, junkies, needles, and other shyt! Now there is a, Im sorry to say this, pot problem Mushroom problem and the odd hash problem !
Do you still have your foot in your mouth Completekaos! The beer vendors and the food vendors are there for you convience! Would you like to march up the 465 stairs to University Blvd, then walk 14 block to Subway and have a bite or would you like the vendor to do it for you! They are just getting a tan and providing a service! I dont see the police coming down there all the time to protect you. I see them giving people shyt for drinking on the beach and I see the Coast Gaurd helping people but the vendors help protect you, so maybe next time you should thank them before you shyt on them! Sorry Kaos but that was a touchy subject!
Now for the rest of you textiles,(for you none Wrecker textiles means clothed monkies), go to a beach where every one stares at you there is no Booze around the drugs are affluent and your judged by everyone on your physic your cloths and your friends!
To me Wreck Beach is a place of relaxation and if I want or dont want something all I do is say it!  I go there to get away from; the gangbangers with there intent to harm you, or steal from you, tell me where a nude person is going to hide a knife or brass nucks! I have tanned on every beach in BC and other than Whiterock, the sand is so soft there, Wreck Beach ROCKS
As for your hardon guys go in the water and that way you wont burn you skinny buts. Or simply dont fantasies about the hottie with the tattas when your there! You know the same erectile fuction happens on a regular beach too. I see hotties everywhere and in every state too.
