And some of these women there's nothing wrong with their looks either except they're not a perfect 10 is all.
I don't know who's behind these immature remarks but it sounds to me like some underage kids are getting on here. Either that or someone seriously hasn't grown up yet. | |

There are many women who are subjected to this type of message, myself included. It's very hard not to take it to heart... even knowing that it is some really immature mean person who you wouldn't want to know anyway.

That said there seems to be too many people here for the wrong reasons and some really emotional basket cases. I wish there was more "normal" people here and fewer quirky one's that have too many issues with their lives. With some people talking to them is like walking on thin ice because they spin out and snap way too easily. They should resolve or deal with their life problems before coming here. | |

 When I first came to POF I got chased off many times,
or shall we say that my personallity got tempered,these days I have a variety of custome photo's that I use to represent my self,and only those whom I wish to communicate with ever see the real me...(-; 
 I do have friends on POF, I was very amazed to see that I am on 14 peoples favorites list's, as usual only Gal's that live 10,000 miles away have any real intrest in me, But I'm over the hill and not worth knowing any more, so I guess is just POF for me and allot of imoral support...(-;      | |

I can't believe my luck...I don't even have a picture up yet and i have 4 pages full of e-mails..maybe i'm just lucky..and please anyone that is reading this..don;t take this as bragging I'm just very excited about meeting new ppl and having a great time doing it! Good luck to everyone and be optimistic..it goes a long way.

Posted: 5/16/2005 5:50:33 PM | Well there's a lot to say. At first I just started cruising around and checking out all of the hot chicks that lived close to me. After being promptly REJECTED by each and every one of them (and for good reason I might add, but that's another story ) I decided to go check out the forums. And I'm glad that I did.
So I spent the next couple of months checking in to the forums. I've had a lot of my posts deleted for, um, inappropriate remarks. Again another story for another time. But in any case I was seriously addicted to these forums for about 3 or 4 months until all of a sudden the ladies just started to come to me.
I'm not trying to be egotistical here because quite honestly I was getting nowhere with trying to talk to completely random girls. But instead I just spent a lot of time poking around in the forums, flirting with a bunch of girls and suddenly some of them decided to take a closer look. Unfortunately most of these ladies that I liked (and that liked me too) were just too far away for me to make it work.
But eventually it worked. I received some messages from some cuties in my area and I went out with 3 different girls. Heck, I even decided to keep the third gal for life. I'm sure glad that I stayed here for a long enough time because otherwise I would have *never* met this gal in real life.
So the short, short version: I've met the love of my life on this site, but it was more perseverance than anything that connected me with her. That and a lot of flirting. Oh yeah, and because she's a freak in bed too. | |

He is moving here to Dallas in 3 to 6 weeks and we are going to be living together. We are even talking about getting married!! Thanks to Plenty Of Fish, I am happy for the first time of my life! I am finally starting my life with a good guy, in a new place, and I am getting ready to go back to school!! I am so ready to start my life over and it is all because of this website!! | |
