I saw Stevie Ray live at an outdoor show in Maryland back in '86. His music really led me to appreciate the blues. "Pride and Joy" was such a signature song for him at that time. The Fabulous Thunderbirds were the opening act; but traffic was so heavy my buddy and I missed them. But we saw all of Stevie's show; awesome. Man, and the ladies were having a good time at that concert, too. Thanks for the memories.

I never really got into SRV untill after his death.. but there are few as good and likely few will be that good again.. it's always the way.. just when they are getting their life together again they die...
