They ask each other questions ! i.e. can i finger you and do you like that. or let me suck you off is that ok! But, all things considered in the act of making love that is what its called isn't it? You are both exchanging everything with each other and sharing it. If that does not work for either of you then I guess it was just a fk and not love making now was it! Thats fine too but in a relationship especially long term when you are both feeling each other out , and you find out that something is slightly wrong like" eating each other out" and you talk about it you can either come to terms with it or move one.
