The voting thread is closed so here are the results...but first a thank you to all who entered it was a great contest with alot of wonderful writes...

| Voting thread for spring contest
Posted: 4/14/2006 2:24:29 PM | how long is 5 seconds, I can only wonder.
because I was not in the contest, and I went and found the contest thread on page 2
and found myself writing a poem for the contest
then I was only going to enter one poem, but wrote a second poem anyway
two poems back to back in around 10 minutes - and I noticed by the times on the page
I was writing the second poem as miz was writing her note to close the contest
5 seconds later and my second poem would have been below the closing note miz wrote
finally thank you to all who entered and voted in this contest.
soon I will have been on this site for one whole year
I have written more in my lifetime in being on this site, than any other time in my life
my world has been refreshed to have met and contacted so many wonderful people on POF
and to have written and composed poems for many of you, in expressing feelings from my heart
it is the members of this site and those who post in the poems and quote threads I have to thank
Around 1500 poems composed by me in a year, and coming up to 500 new poems for 2006 so far
sure, whose counting, but I need to count, just to know all of this is certainly for real
my congratulations go to every one on plentyoffish, for being who you are, and the creator and moderators on this site.
If I have to thank a few million people personally for being themselves,
and those who read my writing daily, who I may never know or get to contact
In my humble heart and way of caring and sharing
