| Would you date someone with a lazy eye? Posted: 11/10/2006 2:18:06 PM | | Omg I can't even begin to say how I feel about this. I have one I was born with it. There is not a DAMN thing the doctor's can do about it. I have been to many eye doctor's and they all tell me the same thing. I have 20/20 vision. Some people are just shallow sorry. | |

What creeps me out is the "wandering eyes" that are forever scanning the room for someone hotter. Ewwww!

| Would you date someone with a lazy eye? Posted: 1/30/2007 3:37:34 AM | It could be a major lazy eye or a slight one. You know one eye tends to shift off to the side(outward). So would you? If you have before, what was it like and would you do it again? Or can you only date people who's eyes are completly straight?? Be honest people.
So do you have one? I always kind of wonder when someone starts a thread like this, whether they're just trying to put their mind at ease over it. I saw one a few weeks ago where someone was asking if anyone would date someone with a big hairy mole that was located right between their eyes. He was so specific on the size, location and coarseness of the hair you knew he had one.
To answer your question I guess it would depend on how lazy it was. If it's to the point that I'm not attracted to them because of it, then I wouldn't date them. It's just like any physical thing someone may have. If it turns you off, then naturally you're not going to date them. Now if Jessica Simpson had a major lazy eye I could definitely over look it with her body.

I have a major eye disease that I was born with. It is a nerulogic disease that affected the nerves in my eyes. Due to this when I am under stress, or tierd, or nervous my eyes move back and forth. I cant tell they are doing it. I am told that when people get to know me it does not happen as much or maybe it's not as noticable.
I look people in the face regardless! I am told I have very beautiful eyes! I am no less sexy, smart, whitty, or strong because of it!
It can't be fixed. I can't change it.
I have been given so much more than perfect vision and I thank my creator every day that I am who I am!
so judge me as you will...it tells a lot about YOU!

On topic: I find it rather shallow/superficial/chickenshitty that people would be judged negatively, soley based on things they cannot change.

| Would you date someone with a lazy eye? Posted: 1/30/2007 9:12:35 AM | | I'm not a shallow person....but I have issues when it comes to eyes. You might even call it a phobia of some kind...It would really have to depend on the person. If I had a strong connection with them, if I knew them before-hand, something like that...the situation might be different. But because of my eye-issues, I'm not sure that I could date someone with a lazy eye. It's awful I Know. | |
