| Would you date someone with a lazy eye?
Posted: 6/29/2008 6:28:26 PM | My ex wife had/has a slightly lazy right eye and she is damn near legally blind without glasses. It got fixed after we got married, but was never a problem before.
The eye was never a problem, other than a couple, "HEY I'm over HERE" moments when she did not have her glasses on. | |

Posted: 9/11/2008 12:25:41 AM | | I was driving home yesterday and saw a man about 40 years old making his way down the side walk with an extra long white stick, Often blind people move with confidence in their bearing, but this poor fellow was rather blundering along as though he was new to the dark world he now found him self in, I felt both sad /humble /and extreamly fortunate all at the same time, and resolved never to winjh about my own discomfort again (until the next back ache ,ect ,ect ) So a lazy eye dosnt even show on the Radar screen. | |

I have heard some disgusting language on forums, even in textspeak, but this takes the blue ribbon for foulness. To paraphrase Shakespeare: "I would rather be a toad existing on the vapours of a dungeon . . . " than listen to this, especially from a woman. I thought this kind of post was met with a ban of some kind?
Never mind. It's all cool these days, and anything goes. Why don't we all just blaspheme at each other and hurl insults and abuse in general? It seem to be the linguistic dernier cri of today's society.

Posted: 9/11/2008 2:47:09 AM | OH MY GOSH! Just think if you were born with a "lazy eye." It;s somewhat like being beautiful but at the same time having a Birth Mark on their face!! I know someone who has a drifting eye and he is the nicest and one of the smartest people I know. So why would you be uncomfortable being with them??? If that bothers you. You're a very Superficial, insecure person! I can't even believe this would be a topic!! It's like I won't go out with anyone who has red hair because you like black! Be real people!! This is why we have all the problems and insecurities in America! Supposedly the Land of the Free!
I see nothing about lazy eyes or dating different colors, religions or same sex!!

Oh goodness, you "poor baby", for not being pre-warned about "his" lazy eye......it must have been h e double ell, for you.
And a lazy eye does not look "like they are cross-eyed"..........
And to suggest person(s) with lazy eyes, wear an eye patch?
And at least that's kind of macho?????
FYI.........the word macho died with disco.
Ye gads, I shutter to think what the suggestion would be for the, physically challenged and people who have artificial or missing limbs.................
Ah, paper bags to cover the faces of people who have thin eyelashes or lips....and people you deem unattractive? 
An eye or two....or no eyes..........they do not define a man.
Or woman.
It's the character, morals and integrity......that defines a man, woman........
As long as I'm part of the reason, that his eyes sparkle.........and he only has "lazy eye(s)" for me...........it makes no difference.
At the end of the day, I have a man who loves me truly...
what more could I ask for?

Posted: 9/11/2008 4:08:14 AM | i would because maybe their lazy eye wouldnt see my lazy body. I knew someone with one and its no big deal. Just sometimes when they ask you something you turn around to see if someone is standing next to you out of reaction. If you both have a sense of humor you can have fun with it. I would look around in strange directions and act like they were talking to someone else when I knew it was me. All out of fun and it always got a laugh.
We should do a pole on if guys with unibrows get more dates.
Also I saw a very pretty dark haired girl with dark crossed eyes once and she really turned me on. But htis other girl I dated would be staring at me when I opened my eyes during a long kiss. We'd be getting into it and I would peek open an eye and she would be staring at me. It freaked me out and I had to try to to peek but when I did she would be looking right into my eyeball and inch a way and this made me feel weird. I cant describe the feeling. Weird in a bad way. It kinda scared me. | |

How can the o.p. ask something like that, my ex wife had a lazy eye, and I had no probs with "hmm! should I/not date her, dont always judge a book by its cover, you could be pleasantly suprised.
