seriously, friends with benefits is nice but we've so equated sex with love instead of a simple, biological/physicological need that it's inevitable that feeling develop between the friends with benefits. Not so bad as long as they're mutual but ...
Now don't get me wrong, sex with someone that you love is fantastic and gets better the more you love someone. Sex between friends can be good as long as everyone involved knows that it's simply sex.
In a way, it's like asking someone out to coffee: to one person, that might be a date, to the other it might just be hanging out with a friend. Know what your expectations are before getting into the situation and know what the other's are; if they don't match up, then don't do it. | |

I'm beginning to believe I'm the only man alive who isn't interested in casual sex of any kind. I'm more interested in getting to know the cow, petting the cow, doing things with the cow, etc -- before i even consider drinking the milk.
It is frustrating in the least to meet someone on POF and have them think sex is good-to-go after a couple of weeks. I've actually had women tell me they think I don't find them attractive because I won't have sex with them after a month. Unbelievable.
What is wrong with becoming friends and getting to know someone as well as their family knows them before sex comes into the equation.
Is not casual sex just using someone else to masterbate?? I've heard it said that as long as both parties are ok with being used then noone is being hurt....I don't believe it is spiritually healthy for any human being to USE another human being for self gratification, or any other selfish need for that matter.
Please don't read this as me judging anyone because I'm not....i did not always have these opinions so my slate is not clean. But i have learned this now and I guess i just get frustrated when ladies dis me because I refuse to use them or allow myself to be used...........I think I was born in the wrong century. | |

I think if both parties involved know what they're getting themselves into and lay out their rules before engaging in pure unadulterated sex, then it can be beneficial to them both. If you don't communicate beforehand, it can sometimes get messy - and not in a good way. | |

A guy that would take time to get to know me,(and me him) and do the whole date, hang-out, developing thing. But every guy that I have gone for coffee with has had totally other ideas, that is if it got to coffee.
So many guys on here are so totally shallow that once they find out that I'm a full-figured lady they immediately close their windows and stop talking to me, doesn't matter that we've already had a great conversation for an hour.
So maybe it could be said that I'd be settling to have a FWB. But sometimes we all just need a little lovin'.
