| Rugby league Posted: 4/23/2006 2:33:25 PM | | gd win 4 brian noble against the giants on saturday | |
| Rugby league Posted: 4/23/2006 4:53:39 PM | Brian Noble wont just pull wigan out of rlegation battle he will also take them to glory at twickers and gget them into play off place. As brian said on saturday its about positve attitude,we have the talent at Wigan but it we were short of confidence. As for millward well, it was a harsh sacking due to injuries but, on the other side of the arguement could he actually lift a team as he never really been under pressure like that before unlike the easy times he had at Saints where all he had to do was tell them to play good rugby league. Anyway good like to Mr Noble and CMON U WARRIORS!!! | |
| Rugby league Posted: 4/24/2006 2:46:29 AM | | Cracking win for us yesterday too v bratfut. | |
| Rugby league Posted: 4/24/2006 3:00:34 AM | | Dr got to say was surprissed about both results Wigans and Yours, cant beleive that one man can make a difference to either side as in brian noble picks up one team and deflates another, hope you can get a good season this year. | |
| Rugby league Posted: 4/24/2006 3:07:12 AM | I think with Wigan they had a lot of things going for them at the right time. New coach, 4 players back from injury & playing a team that has played 3 times in 9 days I think.
Our scoreline flattered us. We scored 16 points in the last 10 minutes. For the most of it we were just 1 score in front. Our pack were fantastic.
| Rugby league Posted: 4/26/2006 1:31:24 AM | i think warrington could be the surprised package and could get 2 the grand final
especially if best britsh centre at the moment martin glesson continues his form
| Rugby league Posted: 4/26/2006 3:36:53 AM | Dunno we are too inconsistent at the minute (probably get thrashed by Leeds on Monday).
I've done some work with the first team over the past 2 years & Glees trains better now that when he first joined us. Our pack will get better as the ground dries out. Watch for Bridge & Grix coming through. They'll both be stars in the next coupel of seasons.
| Rugby league Posted: 4/26/2006 3:53:45 AM | | u forgot about lee briers a future great britain test star? | |
| Rugby league Posted: 4/26/2006 9:31:10 AM | | A brave effort all the same spacedust and it shows that there is some character in the team. As a wigan fan for 23 years its the poorest demise ive seen them in and i have no doubt to see mr olaughlin picking up the challenge trophy in august and maybe have a positive outcome in the play offs. as for warrington it would be nice to see them win something. they r a well drilled side under cullen and itll b a nice change. Anoyone goin to stop Saints??? | |
| Rugby league Posted: 4/26/2006 9:43:10 AM | salford was unlucky last friday
i believe that leeds could beat the on there day there half back combernation of burrows and mcguire could work magic
| Rugby league Posted: 5/2/2006 6:16:44 AM | | Well what a match Monday. Fantastic game. As I've said before, watch Grix & Bridge as they'll keep us up there giving anyone a game. Our pack with Big Rau leading the charge can dominate any team. | |
| Rugby league Posted: 5/2/2006 8:01:51 AM | | told u Dr Spacdust your going 2 well this year like i said b4 i think u could get 2 the grand final | |
| Rugby league Posted: 5/3/2006 4:19:35 AM | Great Britain call up squad will be announced today.
Call ups for Terry Newton, Gareth Hock (not played for 2 years but I play for Wigan), Wild, King.
No call ups from Salford AT ALL (Alker & hodgeson the best 2 players this year). No Birers, or Cook. Only 1 recognised full back.
Disgraceful. | |
| Rugby league Posted: 5/3/2006 4:24:34 AM | why Gareth Hock?
why isnt lee briers involved?
what about having wellans and richie mathers of leeds fighting 4 the full back postion?

| Rugby league Posted: 5/3/2006 11:28:15 PM | | Seems all the Rugby League fans on here are in the UK. Well I'm an Aussie League fan. I'm a Die Hard Newcastle Knights Supporter. | |

| Rugby league Posted: 5/5/2006 1:11:25 AM | | ^^^ What happened to Luke Quigley ? | |
| Rugby league Posted: 5/5/2006 2:13:02 AM | I reckon that Noble thinks that he has enough cover at full-back, without having to take two established figures. Both Burrow and Harris can perform that task. Although Mathers is excellent in that position, he is a weaker outfield player. And surely Wellens is the best full-back we have?
Lee Briers is a nasty piece of work , and I suspect he has been omitted due to his inability to gel with the rest of the squad. He is a talented player, though.

^^^ What happened to Luke Quigley ? He got king hit in a pub and had his jaw broken in 2 places. As far as I know he's still in hospital after surgary
| Rugby league Posted: 5/6/2006 1:01:33 PM | | Quite enjoyed watching St Helens lose in Yorkshire, this evening! | |
| Rugby league Posted: 5/6/2006 1:28:52 PM | i bet u did
that what u get 4 putting out a so called weak side e.g shaun long not playing and having moore playing in his postion and not doing a gd job
plus there was 2 many errors on the saints part
looks like wigan are on the way down lol

| Rugby league Posted: 5/6/2006 4:07:27 PM | | Hey mate... Up Rugby Union I say!!!! Tigers all the way! League is just like touch rugby!!!!!!!! | |
| Rugby league Posted: 5/6/2006 5:06:19 PM | Jonno, you appear to be in the wrong thread. This one is for fans of rugby league. If you want to discuss the puff's version, perhaps you should start your own thread?
Good win for the Tigers this week - it's always a joy to watch Wigan lose!

Up Rugby Union I say!!!! Tigers all the way! League is just like touch rugby.
I prefer to play a game where the ball spends more time on the pitch than in the stands.
William Webb Ellis picked up a ball & ran with it rather than kick it. Someone really needs to tell the union lads.
