Posted: 12/31/2008 4:59:39 AM | my favorite is the profile of the guy who has 3 pics... 1st is him standing in nothing but his shiny boxers in the living room, prominent hairy belly, arms held straight but slightly out at the sides in simian fashion, with a rather blank yet slightly hopeful expression. the 2nd is exactly the same, except he's wearing a tight little speedo in the dining room. the third photo exactly the same as the 2nd, except he is standing subtly yet oh so suggestively next to his rather large, unmade bed.
priceless.

yea, I'm talking about the females here.
I hate to burst your bubble, but there are quite a number of guys just within 25 miles of me, just within the parameters of my search, which includes a 10 year age span, non smokers, etc...who have pics of themselves in bed. I don't know how many more there would be if my search wasn't so restrictive.
I don't know who in the world they think they are impressing, but to me, it looks like they are saying that's all they are looking for. I always wonder how that's working out for them? | |

It doesn't mean much one way or the other. Not to me. It's just signifying. I can't do cheesecake anymore, my body won't tolerate that kind of scrutiny. I know what I used to be and I won't show. Besides...heavy tattoos. They aren't trendy, pretty tats. They are interesting though.
So, women who show vs. chaste pictures: they all want the same thing, the world on a string.
I have seen men who go shirtless on here and I am embarrassed for them. They got no self awareness. Ever see a fighters body? You show THAT. On a bed. Standing on your head. Face down. Whatever. | |

bra, with a comeon message on it is what I feel is obscene.

Unfortunately, just like the commercials you see on television, some are more successful than others. And some are just aimed at a different demographic than you are in and therefore you don't really understand the appeal. Maybe it is that some "older" women as you say are trying to attract a type of guy who would appreciate those poses. Just because you see it as desperate and lame doesn't mean that everyone does. | |

some women have more social class than others. i have 4 daughters. one of them does not know how to dress right or put on makeup the right way. the other 3 are more subtle about it all. it doesnt make my other daughter trashy or more promiscuous.
she just must "see" herself differently because we have tried to tell her gently about her makeup. she is getting better at it finally.
what about the guys who waste my time when i cant even see them through their sunglasses or baseball caps.?
or put up one or two photos of themselves and then show off their cars or motorcycles?
there are plenty of older and also much younger girls on here showing too much IMO>
that may lead a man to fantasy island but it is not reality. | |

I mean, could you be any more obvious? There was one poster here who used to rant on about givin' it up too soon coz he won't respect you in the morning. Her thing was "make him work for it" blah blah. And her profile pic had her lying suggestively on her bed with a glass of wine..mixed messages or what??
I prefer shots that are more naturally sexy. I like to see a smiling face - not laughing hysterically, but a friendly interesting look. I like to see their eyes and I'm interested in how they dress. (I'm talking about men.)
