| chubby men Posted: 2/23/2007 1:01:00 AM | As I've probably said before...
Mother always told me that a real man should be able to stand naked, turn to the side & look like a capital R.
Old Gordon has as much hunky chunk as a woman can take. In my experience the ladies always ignore the lads with the lumps & bumps on their tummy (a real man's stomach should be peachy smooth). they go for the kind of fella that has toned his figure on a diet of family sized pork & egg pies & pints of Shagnasty's Old Rediculous.
Form an orderly queue..

| chubby men Posted: 2/23/2007 5:02:01 AM | | Eeeeeeew, sorry but I like a nice bod, it does not have to be supertoned and can carry a little bit of flab, but chubby men , not my apple pie. | |
|
| chubby men Posted: 2/23/2007 6:25:15 AM | I like guys from slim but toned (tho not skinny) to chubby with a bit of a belly (tho not over trouser top, too much eww) I don't mind if they are the same height as me or a good bit taller, but what I like most is the individual that they are, their sense of humour and that they are comfortable being themselves. I have found that in so many ways size doesn't matter that much, as personality (and ability ) counts for so much more. | |
|
| chubby men Posted: 2/23/2007 4:01:14 PM | its not the size of the guy its the way he uses his tools | |
|
| chubby men Posted: 2/23/2007 4:06:13 PM | I have never and probably never will show my six pack there must be one somewhere it's just padded.
The single, or family pack seems to be a more common look
Who decides what we are meant to look like ?

| chubby men Posted: 2/23/2007 4:22:53 PM | I deff prefer chubby men too. Skinny men just dont do it for me. Medium to well built is my ideal man but I wouldnt rule out going out with someone because they are thin if i liked them enough, would just feed them up with pies and Irn Bru | |

| chubby men Posted: 2/24/2007 1:18:47 AM | I likes me a BIG man - but it has to come with height. Anything over about 18 stone though I'd probably be a lot less attracted to unless he's got a lot of charisma. Fat or muscle, I don't mind, but I do like a big chappy :D
Have to admit, I'm less attracted to slimmer men.
|
| chubby men Posted: 2/24/2007 1:25:37 AM | | I sport the Jack Nicholson look ......and i dont care, i love my pot belly !! Quite frankly my damn i dont give a dear !! | |
|
| chubby men Posted: 4/29/2007 3:36:31 AM | wow i can now sleep at night, I have a bit of a beer belly but i have always been like this since i remember. i have big shoulders with it and carry an even bigger heart. You see women who are dam right pretty walking around with slim toned men and what are u to think. If your fatter than the average bear and have millions then u get the pretty ladies. I go for personallity rather than looks and body but 90% of women go for looks. I feel thats wrong and they should all drown.. | |
|
| chubby men Posted: 4/29/2007 3:56:14 AM | For me it's gotta be either toned or huggable but no beer bellies - at least not if they breathe in it's still there. I used to like skinnies but now I'm older I prefer a bit of meat. And toned and huggables have nicer arms for protective cuddles too!
Anyone fancy a cuddle? | |
|
| chubby men Posted: 4/29/2007 4:00:14 AM | From my profile: To those that have asked about my build - I need my large frame to hold all my inner beauty & passion for life along with my BIG warm friendly heart! Oh yeh, it has to hold my snuggly arms too!
I'm 1 of those guys who'll never be skinny, got a 48" chest to work with for starters! I guess I'd describe myself as "with paunch" lol, not through drink but food, I love my grub!
I like a lady to have some "meat on her bones", never been keen on the size 6's.
Now who was that after a cuddle? Now your talking my language, read my testis lol.

| chubby men Posted: 4/29/2007 4:03:23 AM | | i keep repeating myself on these forums but to me size does not matter. i have come to the conclusion that the ladies are more size obsessed than men. they all seem to want to be slimmer and also to date the slim perfectly toned man. i have dated some slim attractive women and they seem to lack a lot in terms of personality, or charisma. i do not think it matters if you get on with someone and there is a spark what size they are, but it is all about compatibility and that is the harder thing to find. | |
|
| chubby men Posted: 4/29/2007 4:18:09 AM | | Funseeking missile your attitude towards the opposite sex is so defeatist, are we really supposed to believe that size does not matter to you ? Have you ever seen an overweight person ? Obesity is not attractive in males or females, whatever personality type they have. As for compatibility, come off it, there are countless people we can gel with, But you have confirmed for me with your post that all men are as equally unfussy as yourself and will sleep with anyone. | |
|
| chubby men Posted: 4/29/2007 4:19:42 AM | | As I've said before and I'll say it again ... No point having a nine inch nail, if there's no hammer to knock it in with ... Love a bit of meat on my man .. mmm mmmm | |
|
| chubby men Posted: 4/29/2007 4:30:24 AM | jez. i am not defeatist i am just not solely motivated by looks. i wont sleep with just anyone and that is a fact and i am sorry if you think that. you have your opinion and i have mine, but please do not think things do not matter to me because they may not bother you as that is so unfair. all i am saying is size( or as u choose to call it obesity) should not be the biggest issue in terms of attraction. perhaps it is to you, but it is not to me and yes of course i have seen overweight people. was that not rather a personal attack to mount? | |
|
| chubby men Posted: 4/29/2007 10:48:45 AM |
jez. i am not defeatist i am just not solely motivated by looks..
I took it to mean that you dont mind a few extra pounds and I'm in agreement with that. I used to go out with a chap who put on weight after we met but as I grew to love him I loved his extra bits too! As you get older looks become less important and although I wouldnt date a total slob, the physical thing comes second to personality
|
| chubby men Posted: 4/29/2007 12:14:59 PM | I have to say that I agree with funseeking missile too. The fact of his not being obsessed solely with the physical perfection of his proposed bed mate does not make him any less discerning, nor does it make him as jez said ''like all men are <div class="quote"> unfussy as yourself and will sleep with anyone. '' That statement says far more about the shallowness of the author than it does of the poster it was aimed at... Lovers come in all shapes and sizes and people find different things attractive, thankfully not all people are narrow minded when it comes to their perception of beauty and I for one wholeheartedly cheer for men and women like funseeking missile and their healthy attitude towards the opposite sex...
EDIT * After being on the receiving end of a couple of your ever so slightly chubby hugs, you TTG are most definitely sexy ...
|
| chubby men Posted: 4/29/2007 12:22:00 PM | Msg 63 - Jez you said: Obesity is not attractive in males or females, whatever personality type they have...
then on the sexy women thread you said:
Sexy has nothing to do with looks, some of the fattest women in the world can be very very sexy...
Do I notice a contradiction here?
If being "obese" means they're not attractive then how can they be sexy? Surely the 2 (attractive & sexy) go together?

OT: I understand if women find us "chubby" men not to their personal liking, I think the saying is Neeeeeeeext!
Edit: Well said Pants ^^^ & thanks for the compliment too!
|
| chubby men Posted: 4/29/2007 12:34:14 PM | funseeking missile..........You are soooo mature for your age !!
I must admit, as I get older, then looks and size become less important to me. I like chubby men. As long as they are healthy, and happy looking.

| chubby men Posted: 4/29/2007 12:43:26 PM |
Mother always told me that a real man should be able to stand naked, turn to the side & look like a capital R.
I tried it and initially the closest I could see was a lower case t but after I got over how stunning I looked in the mirror and calmed down the best I could do was a capital L
|
| chubby men Posted: 4/29/2007 12:52:53 PM | Well well - I am amazed.
Glad to know that us larger chaps have a chance with some of the lovely ladies on here.
And you will often find that a large frame contains a big heart and more love than you could ever want. And the arms to hold and protect. Someone to hide behind when things get scarey. You will also find that larger men can be very gentle and understanding.
And (just for Pants) something to knock in the nail.
So go on girls!! Message a big bloke. Make his day. You may be very pleasantly surprised.
|
| chubby men Posted: 4/29/2007 1:02:35 PM | I've always been on the big side, and frankly, never had any complaints from anyone saying I should lose weight. I'm actually happy the way I am, and more often than not, my previous partners have appreciated a lovely big cuddle from yours truly.
Nothing to beat it. :P | |

| chubby men Posted: 4/29/2007 1:02:36 PM | Msg 70, SIK, this is about chubby men, you are far too fit to qualify, though I respct your point of view.
I think a lot depends on where you are coming from.
If I was 18 like my daughter and weighed 8 stone, I would expect to date a fit (as in healthy not obese) young gentleman (that rules you out LS).
I'm 48 and weigh 14½ stone and am more cuddly. I would expect a woman of my experience (years if you like) to be cuddly too. I do however like my hands to meet at the other side, ladies with their own post code don't do much for me.
I suppose I could do the capital R thing, but I'm sure there must be a less droopy analogy.
|
| chubby men Posted: 4/29/2007 1:09:01 PM | If the attraction is there for me then the size doesn't matter to me. I've been out with really skinny guys & rather larger guys.

| chubby men Posted: 4/29/2007 1:15:32 PM | chubby? before posting on this thread i think that i shall "visit" my Oxford English Dictionary to find out the bloody meaning of this word, lol
i thought that my knowledge of the language was perfect so i am absolutely fuming right now
