Posted: 5/14/2006 8:38:01 AM | Well well here. Looks like it's going to be a very close finish although there is still the conference finals to come yet. I see that the people are moving on up & in great #'s especially from the 2 ladies in "Smilnlady & Leafslady" with "Smack" just right behind in a close 7th. It's great to see the pts. standings are becoming real real tight right from 1st-7th since there is still alot of potential pts. to be tallied up yet after round 2 is complete and said/done. So way to go every1 in making such good hockey playoff predictions,"hats off to you all involved".
After all is said & done maybe Riot13 will come up with an awards showcase just like the NHL does for the leagues' players/coaches awards! Could be something to think about there Riot13 to make your "hockey playoff predictions" fans something to be proud of in taking part in which may be talked about in the days after since it has been a pleasure & much enjoyable in posting daily predictions. Just a thought it was in an attempt to make it "just like". Lots of time yet to give it some thought there Riot13,enjoy in the thought process Riot13 which i'm sure you'll give it a thought since you've been doing an awesome job right from the get go.    | |

Pretaining to the Goalies keeping the games action great with all the saves being made in making fun/xciting to watch=The Best Backup Award-goin' to the player keeping it as real as possibly which there has been players helpin' you Riot13 in doin' so! The Magnificant Award for #66-goin' to the player who holds the most correct hockey playoffs predictions that were called correctly in overtime throughout the hockey playoffs predictions! Remember chiefs76 since we started we been close in the standings{lol}with you now passing myself for top spot but keep in mind i did give you a chance in round1 without giving my who to win in # of games predictions & did the same in round2 by using 2 of my 3 timeouts{just to keep it even ya know}(lol) & i still got a final timeout i may use but not till round3 just cause............LOL

Calgary's Red Mile (17 Avenue SW): Police outnumber fans 5 to 1 (it seems). Full riot gear on hand ready to tackle any unruly fans. Get the tear gas ready, some delinquent Flames fan dares to wave a large flag! $50 fine! What? Some guy honking his horn? $250 fine!!! Those chickies better not bare their breasts or more fines will follow! This **stard is yelling too loud! $100 fine! Many jaywalkers are ticketed and fined! Oh the humanity! Mayor Dave Bronconnier pleads with Calgarians - please respect the cops! He admits to being so wrong in telling Calgarians they could head down to the Red Mile to enjoy the celebrations. Head home, stay home and lock your docks! There are jaywalkers out there!
Edmonton's Blue Mile (Whyte Avenue): 49 people arrested and 10 people are stabbed. Numerous assaults have taken place. Rowdy fans smash bus shelter windows and litter the street with beer bottles and broken glass. 4 criminal charges are laid - one for assault, one for impaired driving, and 2 for mischief. Oh well | |

Posted: 5/15/2006 3:17:00 PM | blue mile....blue mile.....give me a break. can't even come up with there own name. and just how many people are wearing oilers jerseys there? on the red mile the real mile, almost everyone was wearing one. it was just something that happend. not a bunch of wanna be calgarians. and on the mile in 04 there was very few fines, chicks baring more then just there breasts, they had to close down the road due to so many people. and still no one got stabbed. this year it was different the police were out to stop anything from going down. and its what they should do on the whyte trash ave up north.<<<<,see what i did there? it works on so many levals.
