Calgary's Red Mile (17 Avenue SW): Police outnumber fans 5 to 1 (it seems). Full riot gear on hand ready to tackle any unruly fans. Get the tear gas ready, some delinquent Flames fan dares to wave a large flag! $50 fine! What? Some guy honking his horn? $250 fine!!! Those chickies better not bare their breasts or more fines will follow! This **stard is yelling too loud! $100 fine! Many jaywalkers are ticketed and fined! Oh the humanity! Mayor Dave Bronconnier pleads with Calgarians - please respect the cops! He admits to being so wrong in telling Calgarians they could head down to the Red Mile to enjoy the celebrations. Head home, stay home and lock your docks! There are jaywalkers out there!
Edmonton's Blue Mile (Whyte Avenue): 49 people arrested and 10 people are stabbed. Numerous assaults have taken place. Rowdy fans smash bus shelter windows and litter the street with beer bottles and broken glass. 4 criminal charges are laid - one for assault, one for impaired driving, and 2 for mischief. The street reaks of urine as rowdies urinate (and defacate) as they see fit. Mayor Stephen Mandel tells fans, "Try not to be such a yahoo"."

Venomous: Round 2 results have not yet been tabulated. Those will be tabulated after the Edm/SJ series is over. As to how points are awarded, you get 5 points for guessing the correct teams for round predictions, another 5 for correctly guessing the number of games played (but only if you guessed the right team). For individual games, you get 1 point if you guessed the correct team to win, another 5 if you called the correct score, and if the above criteria are met, you get 1 additional point if OT is called correctly (for more on OT rules, see previous posts! LOL!). Once posted, you cannot amend round predictions. Individual games may be amended as long as the game has not yet started. I think it seems like you haven't moved much on the standings because you missed a lot of individual games whereas some of us made formal guesses at each and every game played. Hope this helps!
Smack: Yes, I agree. Edmontonians are a bunch of copycats looking to outdo our Red Mile with their pathetic display of dumbness! On the other hand, I do believe the cops and the city here in Calgary over-reacted. Yes, in 2004, we celebrated here right up to the finals Game 7 with no major incidents and this year, we get fined for waving flags and honking horns? Bloody ridiculous!
GT99: Unfortunately, I am serious! Cops ticketed fans for waving large flags, yelling too loud, honking their horns, and jaywalking! Us Calgarians are SO dangerous!!!!
