That way, the winner could come and enjoy watching the finals with me (and enjoy free beer)! Of course, we'll play until the very end here for fun! But for the free beer, it was up to the end of Round 3. 
I've already started enjoying my reward!

So it doesn't matter if you were 1st seed or 8th seed, we all have a chance at winning the Stanley Cup! That means if you're at the very bottom of our regular season, it doesn't matter. You could be the Oilers, fighting for your spot to make the playoffs, and ending up in the finals for the Cup!
Uh-oh, does that mean I'm Detroit and I'll get taken out in the first round?

I really want the Oil to win (as the Canes bore me to death) but I'm thinking they're gonna be the Flames of 2004 and blow it in Game 7. Perhaps, in a way, I'm hoping they would as well just because as a Calgarian, we know what it's gonna be like if the Oil win ("Ha! Ha! We could do it and you couldn't! You suck! Na Na Na Na Na Na!") And so forth. Hence, my prediction: Canes in 7.

If the Oil win the Cup, all the best to them but I'm thinking that won't be the case. For all you Edmontonians (and Oil fans) bashing on us, just remember, a lot of us Calgarians are rooting for your Oil. I see Oil flags on a lot of cars here so don't come down on all of us! It's just me & Smack won't be cheering on your Oil for we know that for the 10% that is happy that a Canadian (heck, an Albertan team) won, there will be the 90% that will be like "Calgary sucks, and we did what you couldn't in 2004!"
