I have to say, last nights game in Dallas was pretty amazing. No shame in giving up that final goal. A beautiful thing to watch. I myself would have loved to have seen a game 7 between those two. | |

I wouldn't worry too much about Crosby as much as I would Malkin if I were the Flyers because he is on fire in the playoffs. Should be a good battle to see which team represents Pennsylvania. Both teams are playing well in the playoffs. RJ Umberger and Vinny Prospal seem to be very productive right now for the Flyers. | |

Everything is looking up for the Penguins as of late. First the new arena got approved last year which they needed badly and now the Penguins are in the Eastern Conference Finals, something that hasn't been done since we faced the Florida Panthers back in the 95-96 season. | |

In Detroit we have had a huge tradition of our famous Zamboni driver Al, swinging the Octopus over his head and getting the fans all excited and wound up.
Our favorite commisioner Gary Bettman has decided to fine Al $10,000 if he does it again. Booooooo  So below if you could please follow the link and or links, and sign these petitions I would really appreciate it. It takes less than 2 minutes.

Posted: 5/6/2008 9:07:15 AM | its it takes a old man swinging a dead octopus above his head to get the crowd exicted and wound up then the wings fans have issues. im all for the fine, where can i sign saying i think its great that this side show is done?
it may just be that i think petition's are so pointless and weak. like taking action with no action, you have to stand up for what you belive in and march. you dont like gary get your mob and do something about it, dont sign some paper that no one is ever going to look at.
tradition is another word for history and times change babe step up to the now and stop living in the then. when 1 team of 30 only does this then nothing wrong with removing teh side show. if florida had a guy swing a dead rat around above his head, what it the 29 other teams did it then maybe keep it in . but really that would be stupid as hell a sideshow that isnt part of the game.
i personaly think teams need to be fined everytime a object like a rat, oct or beef tounge touch the ice. fans should not throw anything onto the ice surface ever, and also should be hit with a fine and banned from nhl events.
and please dont spam the forum again. | |
