Posted: 5/11/2008 12:33:27 AM | I'm amazed that anybody is giving Philadelphia a chance. They needed overtime to squeak by a highly overrated Capitals squad. They beat the Habs SOLELY on the strength of Martin Biron's goaltending (Montreal absolutely dominated everywhere else in the series)... and now they run into a goalie that's even hotter than Biron.
With Timonen out (even with him in), expect Pittsburgh to make short work of the Flyers...
Not that it matters though... the Battle of Pennsylvania is really a battle to get stomped by the Wings in the final.
This Detroit team looks like the best team since the 2001 Colorado Avalanche. | |
