NJ got lucky in round 1 going up against a team that was slumping in the late stages of the regular season which the Rangers were unlike the Canes of Carolina!!!! and really do you want the sens or oil winning it?
think about it. if the sens or oil win the cup we all will have to hear about it for the whole next season at least. thats saying your team takes it the next season. sorry but i really don't want to be put through that. i will go as far as saying i would like to see them do well. but i would rather see a ducks vs sharks macthup for the west and a sabers vs cains macth up for the east.
and i would like to thank the sens for taking it to tampa.

I'm a little apprehensive because Colorado is a strong team and they've got a great defenseman in Blake, and a strong top line (Sakic, Hedjuk, Brunette). Despite the fact that they got shut out in the first game, I expect them to rebound pretty well. This is the Avalanche we're talking about, after all. But I am a diehard ducks fan, and I just know my boys will destroy them.
The Oilers, while battle tested, will be torn up by San Jose. They can *try* to shut down Thornton, but then they still have Marleau to worry about. And good luck trying to get by Toskala. | |

In the afternoon game the Av's should be up early enough today to group together to realize that a win 2day means tough times for the Ducks to steal 1 back in Colorado for the home ice fans for game 3 & 4 will prove plenty to all the Av's big name players who will not let their fans downs in those games back at home,so...Colorado getting home ice advantage back on their side by winning == 2 - 0
SJ with the fans in the Shark Tank will be too loud & too much for the Edmonton sqaud to handle in their game 1 stategy so...San Jose opening up game 1 winning == 5 - 2 with those 2 Edmonton goals really meaning not much at all that being.................

Kneedlemyer and Banderkov were awesome!
Ilia Banderkov is within 20 minutes of breaking an NHL playoff record, he hasn't let a goal by in 11 periods. He passed Mika Kiprosov and Micolai Habeboolen today, just two more goaltenders to go by and he'll hold the record as the best active goalie in the NHL.

I could go either way on that particular matchup "sens/sabres". But I will predict Buffalo with the upset in 6 games
Sharks and Oilers are too similar in play style, it's a toss up. But for the sake of gambling and not losing money... I have a feeling about Edmonton making a pull away in 6.
