kaos, these are bonus questions, not rules. As we have talked about before, your prediction doesn't have to be under 5 for you to get the points, you only have to pick the right team. prairiep had already addressed this is previous posts. | |

I never got my manual so I had to borrow someone else's. My prediction is the convenor of the pool will pull out a little known edict from the manual and start issuing one game suspensions to any player for crying in his/her cornflakes too much about the new scoring system, or any matters relating and pertaining to the official governance of the pool system.
Ya, i read it there on pg 433, section 221, subsection 214 paragraph 6:
"" ...if any player incessantly whines and threatens to take his/her ball and glove and go home if he or she can't have their own way by, refusing to place a bet, or complaining about the betting procedures, or any excessive displays of tantrums, the convenor reserves the right to suspend such player for a minimum of one game to a maximum of the duration of any whole series('s) still being contested.

Although with 300+ points being bet on each game, all this does is make more work for you riot. it really won't have any effect on the standings
If someone misteps, it makes a big difference in the standings. Or people can get together to try to take out a player. | |

Everyone picking Detroit to win (regardless of what they picked as the final score) wins 10 points for the bonus, as the actual score was under 5 cumulative.
No mulligans could be claimed due to the very important clause found by sly that would negate such findings.

i dont see the big deal on the bettign points, really if you take away the 3rd game where i bet the wings to stack pp and korrosive on the same side but was going to take the pens, im 4 for 4 and called the wings in 5 so based on ethier 1st or this season should be in first. the 2nd i wouldnt have been but that format was my idea to.

next year the series picks should be worth more then calling the right score. 1 for game 2 for score 10 for series and 10 for games in series. each round series picks points double. so 2nd round 20 confrence finals 40. amd finals goes up to 100. with amout of games going up also. first round is all luck.
This is kinda like how we did it last year, which I believe was the least controversial in all our 3 seasons. | |

hell there is lots of ways to do it.
if people want a more true playoff format why not go with a first round is reg season, so top 12 move on
seeding 1 plays 12 blah bllah blah
and it goes head up
you have 12 in 2nd round
6 in confrence finals
and 3 people fight it out for the championship
big problems with that not everyone starts at the start. | |
