People can be so judgemental...I really have yet to hear of anyone dying from second hand smoke.

Really? So.. people who choose to live healthy, to Breathe are "judgemental" because they don't want to breathe in Your Exhaust?? wow ..
Next time I end up on oxygen because of some smoker with 'that' attitude - I'll have to apologize for my Allergy.
That said, there are several sources of information (FACTS) about how second hand smoke Is dangerous .. here's one..
http://www.no-smoke.org/getthefacts.php?id=13

Cigarettes - yup .. you have the right to smoke' em .. and I say - Getter inya - Just Not in my airspace. Smoking is the Only addiction where the addict has the Right to force their substance into Your body. I don't think That is right.

Due to my own serious reaction to nicotene (smoke) and due to the attitudes of Some smokers - I have come to the conclusion that 'it' should be treated like alcohol and therefore reserved to Specific areas. That way those of us who prefer to avoid it (like alcohol) have the freedom to do so.

OT - Quitting for anyone but yourself rarely works. It is a nobel thought .. but it rarely works .. I think if you really care for the health of those around you - you just don't smoke around them.

Just what I think ..

First off I made this comment based on an earlier post of a man who said smoker's should just all quit and that be the end of it...!! Yet he's probably over there chugg'n down a beer or gin n tonic as he types his snide remarks...!! Didn't mean to offend you!!

As per this comment...you are assuming all smokers are inconsiderate...that's a bit stereotypical...I smoke outdoors... and distance myself from people and especially children when in public...I also don't "chuck" my cigareette butts on the ground...I make sure they are out and place them in my purse (if an appropriate receptacle is no where to be found)...my ashtrays, especially in the car, are filled with baking soda to ensure my cigs are out...and I never flick a cig out of the car....so to say we are all forcing the substance into your body would be a stereotypical comment... Yess it is an addiction, for now it's still legal...lol.....and we shouldn't be made to feel like the plague for doing it...!!
