My personal preference tends to long hair (a bit below the shoulders), and I have to agree that the hair in a bun, once unleashed, can be a stunning surprise, ala Bogart.

Well halo....in answer to your question. There should be a clear demarkation line as to where the last highlighted areas were and the foil placements sections.....And if you call the original salon where you had your hair done they should have the formula of the peroxide strength and the bleach/colour used...just advise the salon/stylist that you moved and would appreciate the formula...most reputable salons will give you that info
Never get roped into a complete highlite...it will only dry your pre existing highlited area!....root touchups are common which is just applying the bleach/colour to the root area...then followed by a toner to the shade desired and then emulsified to refresh the faded ends.
Hope this helps halo!

Gotta agree with the pro-bun guys. I like it when a woman pulls her hair back into a pony tail, bun or whatever. Something about exposing the neck and ears a little. Oh, and then when there's a stray lock or two that didn't stay pulled back...hangs in front of the ears or kind of dangles in front of her face.... Don't know why I like it, but I do. Throw in glasses and you've really got me. As someone said, it's kind of the librarian look. Or Diana Prince (Wonder Woman's alter ego...which is strangely more attractive than the super bikini and bracelets.)

Thank you spring_babe :)
It helps a lot.. I gotta get my hair touched up soon and was panicing. Spent way too much on it the first time to have to go and have it completely redone again.

They can retouch it from the way it is. Easy to do.

My hair is to my waist and I wear it up in a twist/knot kinda thing with a lacquered stick in it. The style brings all kinds of questions as to how its held up there and I have had more than enough men pull the stick out to watch my hair fall. Had it happen in a grocery store once. Such silly gooses.
If I am being domestic or camping I wear it down in a long braid.

__If you are asking without any other references, I will say that I like long hair on my ladies.
__In the real world some ladies, because of the shape of their faces, look great in short hair.
__My current lady has very short hair and I love to run my fingers through it when we are intimate. Short is never in the way, easy to care and I have free access kissing the back of her neck, massaging her forehead or nibbling on her ears. YUM!!!

fun life

I think we all kinda like long hair, but it takes forever to grow and most women have more creative things to do things with their hair when it's shorter.
I think if mine was short now, after almost 50 years of it being long.......I would be one of those funky ones with the multi coloured , spikey short hair styles, cuz that is how I feel these days.
But......it isn't, so I maintain the facade with the updo and glasses and that stick that's waiting to be pulled out of the bun and unleash the wild.......oooops

I am an "older women", and my hair is several inches below my waist. Culturally, people seem to think older women shouldn't wear their hair long (because it makes them look old?)?
I won't be cutting mine any time soon. Love it just the way it is.
Working it much easier for me as I just tied up my hair with an elastic. Plus wash and go is a bonus.

Please gentlemen - the purpose of a bun may be so your lady doesn't find herself pinned down by the hair when in an embrase with you(?)

yeah! I've heard that too...from my two older sisters, who have short hair!! oh well...I've always been the rebel of the family and won't be cutting my hair any time soon to please anyone cuz I love having long hair. probably because my mother traumatized me until I was in grade 4 by giving me pixie cuts all the time. HATED that!!

Well I always had a vision ...as an old granny...my hair would be down to my butt...and I could swirl it up into those "funny" buns or whatever....

Long hair.....working towards getting it all the way down my back....no more cutting!.

I get very tired of the same hairstyle, so I change it often...

its been every length from down to my waist to a 1 inch crewcut all over,
every color from black to platnium blonde
and from silky straight to the spirl perm look and everything in between.

Its been years now that I cut, color, curl, whatever, my own hair... I just cant be bothered with a hairstylist. Also, I dont get the big deal of the "long-to-short-hair phobia silliness a lot have... its just HAIR!!! it grows back! geez!

I really love it my shade now (red/burgandy) and my length (to the shoulder).

had very long hair all my life except when i had my cubbies, never again and currently growing it back out but with layers and long sweeping bangs which i love to pull back to the side with my glasses for that hard-assed librarian look

i did promise myself once im all grey , its a funky short do' for me, no fuss no hassle in my old age... but we will see, my mother in her 50's still has all dark hair

oh and ya... long hair... hair pulling.. i do believe its inevitable?? *smirks

I've had my hair long until a year or so ago... I kinda miss it long sometimes, but definitely not during the warmer months (ponytails got boring). Don't mind my hair bein short...

mine's been short for a long time time now OMFG! for almost 25 years! basically the same kind of dooo. arghh! this time though have been getting it professionally streaked with RED highlights and a friend of mine said it looked like a peacock did something in it. Oh well, too bad if they don't like it as it's all about me.
After women reach a certain age i still find LONG hair does not suit them.... it's outdated, and does not frame their pretty faces. We aren't in high school anymore and hairstyle need to be updated in the dating competitive market.
that's my 2 cents

I have had my hair, red, burgandy, black, brown, streaked blonde, short and long,
and totally blonde.
At this time I like the totally blonde hair, as they say when u age u go lighter.
I am sick of long hair, to some they say it is average to me it is short past my shoulders.
Cured and straight, permed also.
I like a change
